Some of the books I hope to get through this month.
My first John Green, might be my last, not because it isn't good, it is, but right now it was a bad choice for someone having anxiety problems, but hey MC and I are on the same med now, so that was weird 😂. Also it's not my norm, so no shade, just maybe not for me.
Snowy Sunday afternoon.
Day 2 of #24in48 I'm still working on all of these, hopefully I'll actually finish some of them! I won't get to 24, I'm shooting for 16 hours as my goal.
#24in48 I've skipped around a lot and not actually finished anything else yet. I'm a J R Ward fan and am visiting some of her stories writing as Jessica Bird, which still have the style she's known for, the damaged super badass with heart. I plan to get a little farther before calling it a night on Day 1. See you all tomorrow!
Time for some breakfast! I've finished Dead Lake and will be listening to Yes We (Still) Can in between other books. #24in48
Joanne Harris' The Gospel of Loki actually came out before Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology. They are both good, including many of the same myths. As much as I like Neil, I actually enjoyed Joanne's treatment more, with Loki serving as the narrator, and all stories from his point of view. I loved the asides and commentary from him. Of course I imagine him as Tom Hiddleston now lol!
