This was an incredible story. At first I was sceptical about the interview style, but after getting used to it, it works really well. It was fun hearing the different POV from everyone. I loved the drama, the complexities of the characters and seeing the build up and break down of the band. The only true let down for me is the fact that the songs aren't real, because after finishing this book I really want to listen to their album! :)

I'm normally not a fan of ghost stories, but the mix of paranormal and mystery drew me in. I loved this story, with all of the twists and turns just brilliant! :)

This was an engaging and insightful book. Kate Murphy does an excellent job of pointing out one's flaws in how you listen, in a way that doesn't make you feel like a terrible person, and then shows you how to do it better. She also did some major research for this book, talking to many professionals in various fields of communication including, a retired CIA Agent. Overall an enjoyable and well written book.

Helo everyone, I keep seeing glowing reviews on this book, but I'm struggling to past page 186 and it was a struggle getting to this point. Does the plot pick up at some point or should I just stop now? I hate quitting books, but this has been a struggle to get into. Your thoughts? :)

Update: After several hours of deliberation I have decided to bail on this book. I have too many books on my shelf that I want to read more than this one.

This was a cute and thoughtful story. In her Author's Note before the story begins, Talia says that she hopes she treated her characters and us gently, in regards to the sensitive topic of healing after an abusive relationship, well this reader was pleased with how she handled it. This was a well crafted and well written book. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves romances, stories about healing and if you're in a reading slump. :)

I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing was beautiful and the story flowed nicely. It is a heavy story and does address important and serious topics, so be aware of that as you read this beautiful story. I highly recommend picking it up when it hits shelves on February 18, 2020. Happy Reading. :)

I just wanted to thank @CeladonBooks for the advanced copy they sent me in exchange for an honest review. :) #ReadSaintX #CeladonReads #partner

The first half of this short book was so slow and boring that I almost didn't finish it. After the action started it got interesting. What saved this book for me was OWEN. I loved his witt and charm.

The Reckless Oath We Made | Bryn Greenwood

I just finished this book and it has left me feeling a mixture of emotions. It started with making me feel happy and a little frustrated to ending with complete frustration and the boulder in the stomach type feeling. Bryn Greenwood's writing was addictive and I loved how this book made me feel the whole range of emotions and I can tell already that this story will stick with me for many years to come.

This was a really great book! I mean come on, it's Harry Potter. Lol This is my second time reading this book in hopes of reading the rest soon after. After this first book I'm looking forward to reading the others. So good! I love the setting, the characters and all the adventures these three friends go on. Good fall read for sure. 😊

Lady Midnight | Cassandra Clare

This book left me with mixed feelings. The first half of the book dragged on and on for me and the whole Emma and Jules keeping secrets from each other got annoying really quick. Once the second half got started I was intrigued and had to finish it. Not a bad read and I will pick up the next one soon. :)

I loved this book, I couldn't put it down! It was so much fun to read about a romance set during the times of Women's Suffrage. The romance was so so good, the drama was really good and I loved the characters. The on again off again part of the romance was a little tedious, but that's my only real complaint about this beautiful story. 😊

This was an enjoyable read. I liked the lovers separated over several years, only to be reunited and have awkward exchanges. All of the usual jealousy, mixed signals and longing happens in this book in a beautiful way.

Paper Towns | Green, John

This book was an alright read. Not as bad as Looking for Alaska, but not as good as The Fault In Our Stars. I enjoyed the ending because it reminded me of my high school boyfriend and how our separation from each other was inevitable all along, even when I couldn't see it. I didn't hate this book, but I didn't love it either. It was middle of the road for me.

This is one of the best books I have read this year. I loved the characters, especially Circe, I loved the story of her life as a witch, the settings and plot were beautifully written and the ending was very satisfying.

Again, but Better | Christine Riccio

For me this was a cute, light and relatable story. The beginning half (part 1) was tough to get into and at one point I was going to put the book down and read something else, but because I'm stubborn and wanted to finish it sooner rather than later, I pushed through. Once I got to the second part of the book I began enjoying it much more! I have a longer review on my website, kendrascorner.wixsite.com/website. :)
