I was sick in bed this week so it was a good time to download some audiobooks.
A clinic in the Middle East gets bombed and the only survivor is an American female that finds her way out of the rubble while The terrorists are searching for her. She tries to blend in with the locals while injured and needs to get out stat! Sooo good. #audiobook #romance #action

I heard a lot of people liked this one BUT I‘m gonna go with pan. It was all smut and barely any plot. I found it so boring. It lacked character development, world building and It didn‘t make a lot of sense to me. It didn‘t explain much about the 13 and the Greek Gods. I heard a Touch of Darkness was a much better retelling of Persiphone and Hades.

Hmmmm… Quotes that make you think.
2nd book in the City of Thorns series. Really Enjoying it so far. #YA #Kindleunlimited #Fantasy
I came across this #YA / #Fantasy on #kindleUnlimited. I thought its was different and interesting so I stuck with it. By book two (Lord of Embers) I was hooked. Now I have to wait til July for the 3rd book. Ugh! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I used to love reading Lee Child‘s Jack Reacher books. It‘s a series now on prime! Who else is watching this?

Famine by Laura Thalassa. This is my favorite so far of the four Horsemen. It‘s a different dynamic than the first two. Surprisingly refreshing. But not for the faint of heart. #romantsy
This book was written in 2018, so this quote stood out to me.
“All these centuries we spent studying illnesses and conquering them, surely we were equipped by now to stop an epidemic.
We were wrong.”
I signed up for kindle unlimited and have to admit I fell down the rabbit hole of “enemies to lovers” books. I read like 5 books in 5 days. That‘s a new first for me! I don‘t know why the covers are so cheesy though. This was one is a 3 book series about a women forced to play the wife of a mafia boss , which she hates but then of course fell in love with him. Such a fun read! So glad I signed up. 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #kindleunlimited
This book is very steamy, hot and heavy if you catch my drift. I didn‘t mind it in the least 😂 It was Worded very thoughtfully that it did not read like a cheap romance. Clever dialogue. The World building is excellent so is the emotional contemplating. Thoroughly enjoyable. This was the second book after From Blood and Ash can‘t wait to read the next one. 4 1/2 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I thought this book was very good. The first half goes back and forth between the past and the present, but not in an annoying way. The second half stuck to the present. The story made you want to keep going and see what happens. So much had changed for this family in one night. I really felt the struggles of this family and how they overcame ❤️. I give it 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️#botm
Malibu catches fire.
It is simply what Malibu does from time to time.

Suspenseful. Every parents worst nightmare. Your child in college that has everything going for them somehow becomes a drug addict. How far would you go to protect your child?
I usually can predict outcomes but this one kept me in suspense. I give it 4/5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #suspense #summerreading #fiction #bestseller
10 year old Kya was left alone to survive in a shack in the middle of a swamp!
Do I even have to say more than that?? This story had me in tears, angry, gave me goosebumps, times of peacefulness, love, joy, trouble, heartache. Truly inspiring. Beautifully written.

Finished this series, the 3rd and last book, The Queen of Nothing in The Cruel Prince series. It went by so fast. If your looking for a YA fantasy this is a good one. I give it four out of 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
This is the second book in The cruel prince series. 🖤🖤🖤
I took a 4 year break from ya/ fantasy and am so glad I did because now I am thoroughly enjoying this series without being tired of the typical ya/fantasy formula.
I am currently half way through the 3rd book The queen of nothing and can‘t wait to see how it ends. I will be sad when it is over.

I have so Much to do around the house but I can‘t stop reading this! 😂🤦♀️
The premise sounded good. A 12 year old boy is the only plane crash survivor and loses his whole family. What he went through afterwards emotionally and physically was not sugar coated. It felt very real portrayl of recovery. The chapters went back and forth between present day and the plane and the characters on the plane. It got really boring with conversations and scenarios and Honestly I just didn‘t really care how it turned out. #botm
I liked this book. It was a fun, exciting thriller with twists. I picked this book because I heard it was a modern day Jane Erye and I loved the movie. It had different POV‘s that made the book Not drag on. It won‘t win any awards but it was a fast read that I enjoyed. I give it 3 1/2 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 #botm
“Emily is shoving pieces of fruit into a blender..resulting a dark viscous green juice.. it tastes like someone dumped a half pound of ginger into grass cuttings..so eff me I‘ll guess I‘ll develop a taste for it.“ #botm

Saw this on Instagram today and I had to share. 😂😂😂

This book was a SO-SO for me. It had problems with character development or lack there of. There were too many girls in the gang to keep track of. The beginning chapters were good. The middle was boring and I almost bailed. The end chapters were good and the ending itself was good. I‘m glad I finished it. #botm ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Women from that time that couldn‘t have children were declared cursed or witches and kicked out of their homes. I‘m So dumb founded right now..
At first I thought it was kind of cute and interesting, then a little cheesy (eye roll) Then it suddenly got so much better and interesting. It turned into a real page turner (two sittings) A recommended fast read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #botm
As far as memoir books go, this is a good one. It‘s a memoir of a female, african american, ER doctor with heartbreaking and chaotic experiences in the ER, mixed in with childhood trauma. Such a good book and telling of her personal experiences. I give it 4 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #botm
“Call me a harlot. Call me impulsive. Call me hungover.”
This should be a fun read...

This is a young adult novel that takes place in Shanghai in the 1920‘s. It has gangs, rivalries, a little romance, a sy-fy aspect to it. A mystery that was not hard to figure out. I picked this book because of the Romeo and Juliette theme, without realizing it was a young adult genre. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I‘ve moved on from ya books. However I think people that love YA will like this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give it 3 stars. #botm
My last #botm was so good (addie larue) that I have to go into this next book with an open minded fresh perspective, and not have crazy high expectations. I‘m starting These Violent Delights and I‘ll keep you posted on how things are going!

1. Circe- I thought the creative, imaginative writing was there, but I just couldn‘t wrap my head around the Greek mythology thing. I didn‘t hate it but I also didn‘t love it.
2. I would love to read at a luxurious beach resort overlooking the Caribbean.
3. Since it‘s fall I‘m gonna say caramel because of caramel apples and spiced apple w/ caramel cider at Starbucks (otherwise my usual go to is chocolate)
I am completely wrapped up into this book right now. It‘s strangely comforting and cathartic for those that want to escape society (which I often do) I absolutely am loving it. I give it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. #Botm
I liked this book more than I thought I would. I thought by the title I didn‘t have high expectations but I finished it in 3 sittings. I learned a lot about gymnastics. I describe this book as ambitions, comebacks, trials and tribulations in life and in gymnastics, with a little romance on the side. #BOTM
A small town. A teenage rape trial. A murder/ rape that happened twenty years earlier. There were parts of this book that were upsetting and disturbing. Rachel has an investigative crime podcast and while she‘s investigating the current rape trial she discovers a whole other case from twenty years prior. I liked this book because it didn‘t drag on like a lot of crime novels do. This one stayed interesting. I give it 4 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️. #botm
A girl in a book store finds a mysterious children‘s book from 1938 Austria with German hand written words. The next chapter takes place in 1938 Austria
The Nazi‘s have occupied Austria and Jewish families are trying to get out. Max is Aryan and in love with a Jewish girl and trying to help her family get out...
Suspenseful. Great book. Loved it. Four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“The blade of a shovel, cutting through frosted grass.” #firstlinefridays
There were parts of this book that were so interesting but it just did not hold my attention. At first I was impressed with the imagination and whimsical depth of the writing but as time went on the attention to detail was lost on me. Some of the chapters were so very interesting and if it kept at that consistency I would have loved. I think the Author is very talented but maybe it just wasn‘t for me. #Botm
1. Normal people- Sally Rooney
2. Trevor Noah

Fast paced, exciting, and lots of action. I needed a break from slow going serious stuff. It was a fast, easy read. I give it three stars. #botm ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘ve read better relationship books. The banter between the two main characters was entertaining and it was a cute book. The last 1/3 of the book was the best part. Overall I give it 3 1/2 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ #botm
I don‘t know why I keep picking non linear books when they really annoy me, but the love story is my favorite part of this book. The rest didn‘t thrill me so much. I‘m a sucker for the forbidden romance of the high society rich girl that falls in love with a working class artist. Some parts were so-so, the other parts I loved. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ #BOTM
