⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐LOVED THIS! I laughed out loud, cried. This book delt with a lot of the emotional complexities of being black in America...I can't believe I've had this sitting on my shelf so long.

Well this was scandalous...overall it was a fun read, pretty steamy. Did this feel like something that could have been reality? Nope, but fantasy is just fine with me.

WJCintron I LOVE that one!! Penelope Douglas is my favorite smut author! The slow burn was sloooowww though. LOL 😂 You end up rooting for them, and can't wait for them to at least kiss, lol. I have Punk 57 on my TBR, can't wait to read it. Have you? Have a great day and a Happy New Year! ⭐ 🎉 🎉 🎉 4w

This book was so imaginative and when i started it I thought I was really gonna love it, but despite this being the unpopular opinion I just lost interest maybe halfway through, I pushed myself to finish, while this was well written this wasn't for me.

This is a really cute book about a girl who finds herself in a bind between 2 brothers, and has just learned that the cabin she's been going to for her childhood will be sold, realizing she's unhappy with life she asks "what will make me happy?" And boom, groundhog day loop. This book gave me all the christmas feels that i loved..i had a hard time keeping track of all the characters but other than that it was a good christmasy read.

This book was perfect for fall and halloween, it had the creepiness i loved (not enough to keep you up at night) and it had some mystery. Wouldn't mind seeing this on the big screen.

This relation can not get anymore dysfunctional

LoverOfLearning 😂😂😂 it takes a LONG time for them to become less dysfunctional but you become invested in Tessa and Hardin in the long run. I'm 1/4 of the way done with book 4. For whatever reason I got hooked! 1y
Koffeejazzandbooks @LoverOfLearning im glad you said that because I wanted to know what someone thought about the rest of the series because im pretty sure ill end up reading the rest of them because I think im getting hooked too lol 1y
LoverOfLearning @Koffeejazzandbooks this will be one of the few series I will have read all the way through. Each book ends on a major cliff hanger so it definitely keeps you hooked. I also felt that book 1 was not that original but the rest of the book are so they do get more enjoyable. 1y

This held my interest, definitely a page turner....but after getting thru it all i think i might be disappointed at the "plot twist" it still didn't fully explain everything. Maybe the author was going for the Gone Girl type of plot twist but clearly tried too hard and threw in a bunch of unnecessary stuff...BUT despite all that i would still recommend it because if i had nothing else to do i would have read this in one sitting.

LoverOfLearning Was an excellent read! 1y

I started this years ago and I enjoyed the beginning but I didn‘t finish it because I‘m sure it was a shinier newer book that got my attention, but after finishing it fell flat , with the introduction of the Drew character it got silly. This would have been a pan if it wasn‘t for Poe (the pet coyote) who was my favorite character in this book.

TheAromaofBooks I felt the same way, and also ended up wanting a pet coyote! 😂 2y

I am completely laughing at my old 13 year old self for loving these books so much back then. These books are so outrageously horrible and I LOVE it lol. As bad as these books are they are probably the first ones that sparked my love for “adult” reading so yea they‘re kinda special.

Truly Madly Guilty | Liane Moriarty

Pickpick

Overall this was a good book I‘ve said before that I LOVE Liane Moriarty‘s writing style, domestic fiction is probably my fav genre right now. Buuuuuuuut even though this was a “pick” ,this book frustrated me because of the huge build up for one major event and smaller build ups for side plots that were somewhat of a let down, by the last page I was left with a feeling of “that‘s it?”However, I will still say it‘s worth a read 🤓

MyNamesParadise I felt the same way. I‘ve read four of her books this year alone! I really enjoy her writing style and she has a way of sucking you in. I still need to read Nine Perfect Strangers and The Hypnotist‘s Love Story by her. I may re-read Big Little Lies and What Alice Forgot. I hope she has a new one coming out soon! 2y
Koffeejazzandbooks @MyNamesParadise yes her books do suck you in, I have all her books I haven‘t read on my tbr...The Husband‘s Secret and Big Little Lies are still my favorites, I don‘t know which one i love the best 🙂 2y
MyNamesParadise @Koffeejazzandbooks I read The Husband‘s Secret in a couple days and I could re-read it. Nine Perfect Strangers is taking a little longer to suck me in. I just finished Three Wishes by her and I really enjoyed it. 2y
