Completed the audio - took forever bc new mom here can only listen in the car or occasionally at home though it‘s harder for me to track there. Man do I love this series - I‘m pretty sure i would even if I didn‘t know it was Rowling writing. And if you‘re looking for a good audio - the narrator is great!

It‘s been a long while since I‘ve checked in - this guy showed up early in August and it‘s been a whirlwind ever since. Gotten a little iPhone reading of grownup books done during late night feedings and working our way through a lot of good board books. Our fave is Counting Kisses by Karen Katz.

Wow. Really enjoyed this - it's a pretty good look at grief, and the self centeredness that is being a teen in love. Did the audio, and the narration by Tom Picasso was excellent minus his narration of the occasional female character - the moms had this annoying simpering quality to the voice that I'm hoping was unintended. Could have been avoided totally - just narrate those parts - no need to change voices!

Yawednesdays One of my favorites this year!! 2y
GardenJess @Yawednesdays - pretty sure it will hold true for me too. It has stuck with me. 2y

Ok, there are a lot of plot holes in this one. If you can get past them it's a sweet contemporary YA romance. I enjoyed it - it's a quick read, done in less than a day. Thanks #uppercasebox !

Excellent on audio. Nothing earth shattering - Ms Graham is very private so she just reveals bits of her life but it does give you some peaks into her career, Gilmore Girls, and life in the entertainment industry. Recommended to those really into Gilmore Girls for sure, and maybe those interested in acting life or even writing.

Oh so good. I'm glad I listened to the recommendations to do the audio on this one - it was perfect. I don't read a lot of zombie stuff, I enjoy it but never think to grab it. Spent most of my day attending a get out the vote rally - featured speakers being current and past First Ladies. Well attended with 11,000 of my new friends. Long story short - don't forget to vote. And always bring a book to an event like this - I got Ghosts read while waiting for the parking lot to clear. It was great. I expected as much but it's the perfect time of year to read it.

Thumbs up! The audio narration was excellent, and really captured the character voice. The story - wow, really covers some truth regarding relationships - both marriage and friendship. I was irritated with the main character, Beth, and her "sure, why not" mentality but it worked for the story. I chose this for my Reading Harder challenge - politics. It worked brilliantly for that category and in election season gave a glimpse I loved!

jessberk13 I'm reading this right now too, liking it a lot so far! 3y
jessberk13 Oh and I didn't even think about using it for the politics task!! Perfect, I was struggling with that category! 3y

I adore this series. It's magic, quite literally. I did a teen program today and the laughter and speaking along with the lines and and heckling certain characters made my day. And my blind draw of the grass flavored Bertie Botts bean was the perfect end of the day. No one needs to end their day on earthworm!
