#ChristmasCarolBuddyRead #XmasPresent 🎄A nice mellow evening, reading this issue with a cup of Pukka After Dinner tea & cookies that were in a holiday basket from a client. They're supposed to be peppermint bark on chocolate cookies but they are neither very chocolate or very minty.😐My festive evening included watching Rosemary's Baby & now Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.😆And only non-candle lighting-candles seem to be aggravating my asthma.😬😷🕯

DebinHawaii I guess I should have said something about this issue. 🤓The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come is the scariest.😱👻You have to feel sorry for Scrooge to begin to see such an unhappy outcome for himself. 6y

batsy My plan for this Christmas is to hopefully watch Black Christmas again 😆 I don't know why but I love to watch scary stuff during festive times... OK, that no doubt sounds weird 😁 6y

DebinHawaii @KVanRead It's a longtime favorite of mine--book that I snuck off my parents shelf & movie so when I find it playing, I have to watch it.😆Have you read the tagged Ira Levin or seen either movie adaptation. It's another favorite. Not quite Rosemary's Baby but good.

KVanRead Haven‘t read it but I may have seen the movie. This one scarred me as a child though. Haven‘t read the book but the movie made me appreciate feminism from an early age😂

Missed yesterday's post because my dad ended up in the hospital and is still there so hoping he will be out in time for Christmas is my #xmaspresent and tomorrow being my last day of work for 10 days is a very close second!!!
Ghost of xmas future always freaks me out a bit... think it would be hard to watch your own death.

I read yesterday's and today's installment on #SerialReader this evening. I thought it interesting that Ignorance and Want, as well as the characters that deal in dead men's wares are described as ugly - as though their looks are the result of their character.

Jess_Read_This @gossamerchild Usually Etsy or eBay lots. Most sell in bundles of 50-100. Some sellers specifically will say where the cards came from college library, church library, elementary library, etc. 6y

Christmastime | Alison Jay

The hubs knew I was a little disappointed that my secret Santa package didn't make it in time for opening day so he stopped by the record store to get me something festive to open. It's Soul Christmas, a super fun holiday record in gorgeous white vinyl mixed with red and green. I've enjoyed seeing everyone open their packages though! And I've been in touch about mine, it's coming so no worries - I just get extended solstice excitement! 😸❄
