so-so(2013) Kate and Curran go to Europe. Intrigue, mayhem, and relationship drama ensue. I'm enjoying the series, and I like how this episode contributed to the series's story arc, but I am so over the extended relationship drama that could be solved with a brief conversation.

pickI enjoyed the second book even more than the first. I'm getting better at skimming over the gory bits 😂 Basically, I love every character in this series. Even the sketchy ones. The concept for this world is so creative and engaging.

pickDecided to pick up the next Ilona Andrew‘s book since @wanderinglynn had one of the last books on her #auldlangspine list! I want to read the rest of the series before I pick up that one!
This one had so much going on! And it‘s been a while since I read the last book. A machine was built that destroys magic and anything with magic in it. So all the supernaturals need to race to find the device before it goes off and everyone dies.

pickA very good installment. Some surprising twists and turns, characters coming together in unexpected ways. The ending seems to happen in a rush, so I‘m already excited for getting to the next one.

1. Eve Dallas in the In Death Series by Nora Roberts She is a no-nonsense woman, and she always solves the case. ( With help from her team)
2. Kate Daniels in the Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrew. She is a bad ass.
3. Rachel Morgan in The Hollows Series by Kim Harrison Her love of family even if the are friends and her bad ass attitude.

A little spice, lots of drama, LOADS of action & some humor.
A mercenary swordswoman, a werelion, a teenage sensate & a warlord having dinner at Applebees is a bit funny. The series continues not to take itself too seriously while still developing the characters & taking them to the brink in unique ways.

Book 7 & Kate can no longer hide from her heritage.
A satisfying culmination of the developments this far with plenty of hope &problems left for the future.
