This smart, tough, sweet, strong, caring kid fills me with joy, pride, LOVE, admiration and hope all of the time. Seeing her get hurt was heartbreaking. Seeing her face it head on with poise & determination has been inspiring. Seeing that beautiful smile post surgery made me happier than I can express. She gets ALL 5 spots this week.

pickPicture books (I've missed thee!) about books create a certain kind of joy. That being said, Please Don't Read This Book is more a list of activities, would be best enjoyed by a guardian instructing a small child on what 'not' to do. 😉 Book's Big Adventure is sentimental with resources in the back for new homes for books, always a good. Hug This Book is my fave, art feels 60s, even if publication was 2016. Colour palette is vivid and cheerful.
