I‘ll confess, while I feel like I have less to worry about than many others, I‘m not sleeping much this week so I‘m taking time in the morning to set myself up with 3-5 #positives for the day.
For today:
1️⃣ My commute to work was 20 minutes & 55-60 mph on the freeway
2️⃣ Fried rice with egg for breakfast from the local diner on my walk from parking & a rain-free morning walk.
3️⃣ Our director brought us all mini bouquets from a local vendor...

It‘s been a rough day for my mental health, though nothing outward has changed in my circumstances. Of course this is a pick. I enjoyed this the first time around, but admittedly fell asleep in the middle a bit. I wasn‘t feeling well at the time. I got to hear the whole thing this time and greatly enjoyed it, even more than the first time. I also saw the movie between reads, so I also had that to compare. Of course I recommend all Gaiman, so that‘s no surprise here. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

GingerAntics I also greatly enjoyed the interview about Stardust at the end of this audiobook. It was also a lovely distraction from the constant coverage of the Little League World Series (don‘t get me wrong, I love baseball, but not constantly). #NeilGaiman #Stardust #LLWS #audiobook #baseball #escape #distraction 5y

ShelfRighteous Gaiman is my favourite. I dont know how he imagines the stories, but they magical. I felt like this story was going nowhere at the beginning but the end was good anyway❤ 5y
