@Mdargusch and I had to put our dog to sleep this morning, so to cheer ourselves up this afternoon, we did lunch, and then stopped in the local bookstore and bakery. 🥰 It was a sad morning but a good excuse to spend time together.
This book is a memoir by Betty Reid Soskin, the oldest living National Park Service Park ranger based at the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Homefront National Historical Park in California. She became an interpretive park ranger in her 80‘s. Isn‘t this attitude just the best? Fascinating read about a fascinating woman.

I‘ve only read one book by Nina LaCour (Everything Leads to You) and I absolutely loved it...but this one doesn‘t have super great reviews, so who knows. But it‘s really short so even if it‘s not great at least it won‘t be a huge time investment, LOL #nowreading
pickQuick and fun read, only drug in a few spots and those are easy enough to skip over :) perfect break from deeper books I‘m working through.
