Hopefully I can make it through all four of these this weekend. These are pretty hefty books and The Children's Hospital is a chunkster! #YearOfTheChunksters We'll see how far I can make it.

Pickpick

I finished my first book in the #YearoftheChunksters It was a little over 1K pages. So good and it was also exhausting. Love the story and the world building is spectacular! Memorable characters with lots of action. Already looking forward to the next book in the series.

@TheReadingMermaid

cherinium I love this one. I plan to reread it sometime this year...maybe--if I can squeeze it in with all the books I'm trying to get through for challenges. 4y
UwannaPublishme I admire your chunkster challenge this year. I‘m not that brave. 😁🙌🏻💪🏻 4y
TheSpineView @UwannaPublishme Thanks! It is motivation to get some of them read. 😃 4y
TheSpineView @cherinium It was as good as the first book! 😃 4y

I am in a reading slump. So I‘m revisiting some novels in hopes of breaking the slump. I want to finish The Century Trilogy this year, so I‘m re-reading this one again so I can get acquainted with all the families & their stories. At nearly 1,000 pages, it may take a while. Wish me luck! 📚How do YOU break a reading slump?📚 #YearoftheChunksters

Pickpick

In this book we meet Ophelia, who can read the past of objects and travel through mirrors. One day she is told that she‘s engaged to a man from an other ark. Shortly afterwards, he comes to take har back to his ark. A world completely different to the ark Ophelia is born. Once there, hardly anything is at it seems.

I can‘t remember the last time I was this involved in the life of a character.

AnneCecilie When I wasn‘t reading this book, I wondered what would happen to Ophelia. I now need to get my hands on the second book in this quartet. I‘ve already checked, and the third book is out this fall. I‘m so glad you had this on your #WomenReadWomen2019 list so I finally read this @GatheringBooks 4y
AnneCecilie I‘m going to count this as my first chunkster with just under 500 p for #YearOfTheChunksters @TheReadingMermaid 4y

BarbaraBB You‘re having a year of the chunkster? How brave! 4y
AnneCecilie @BarbaraBB I will definitely read other books too, but I thought I should focus more on reading the bigger books on my tbr. 4y
Librarybelle Great review! 4y
Crazeedi Love the cover, nice synopsis💞 4y
BookwormM Sounds amazing 4y
GatheringBooks Very happy to see your review. I also liked how Ophelia is not your traditional heroine, and how she is frequently described as mousy, nondescript, and unattractive. I have the second book in the series but still waiting for the third book to be translated before i begin binge-reading them. :) 4y
BiblioLitten The cover is gorgeous! 4y
AnneCecilie @GatheringBooks I don‘t think I can do that. I hope to get my hands on the 2nd book as soon as possible and read it in February. If that is just as good as the 1st, I just have to start the countdown. 4y

My goal is usually 300 books a year, but 2020 will be The #YearOfTheChunksters, so I'm going to set my goal at 150 this year.

What's yours? 😃

AmyG I once read 99 books in a year. 150 is unreal to me. Good luck!!! 4y
AkashaVampie Wow... 300??? I can barely read 2 books a month. I'm going to try for 30 4y
Laughterhp Nice! I usually set my goal at 120, 10 books a month! 4y

AsYouWish I usually set my goal for 50, but I am thinking of upping that number this year since I more than doubled that this year. 4y
JessClark78 I‘m setting my goal at 50, since I have many chunksters I‘d like to read this year myself. 4y
LeeRHarry I set my goal at 100 last year - it‘s 1/1/20 here already 😆 - and read 107 - decided not to set a goal this year and see how I go 😊 4y
Johanna414 I decided not to set a number goal for 2020 for the same reason - I want to get to all those chunksters that have been languishing on my shelves for so long! 4y
Amandajoy I decided to set my goodreads goal for 12 and increase it little by little when I hit it so I read more of the big books 😊 4y
emmaturi I am going for 120, I felt I tried to get in as many books as possible as I read 161 last year. I want to slow down my reading! 4y
Andrew65 I‘m going for 250, good luck with your target and thanks he chunnksters. 😊 (edited) 4y
CaroPi Last year I went for 60 and I read 61 but this year I will go for 53. This is my standard goal... Otherwise I will not really enjoy my books.... 4y
RainyDayReading I set mine for 52, which I think is a book a week? Or roughly that amount. Don‘t like to stress too much over the amount but I would love to hit 100 books this year, not including graphic novels or manga. 4y
Klowman78 At least 5 4y
jessinikkip I went for 100 for this year 4y
