pickI love this book. This is the first of the Pendergast novels. A monster goes crazy and starts killing people in a museum. The monster's reveal at the end is one of the best.

Aside from that, I thought it was going to be more fantasy, but it was really dirty. There were sex scenes that just seemed to go on and on, and the details 🤦🏼♀️
Somewhere in there is a story about two different human hybrids that fall in love.

so-soThis book is just weird. It's mostly about a woman, Amanda, who is destined to take over the town's coven. Except part of the town are evil Christians & want to destroy all witches, plus her uncle is killing animals & people & then trying to resurrect them. And there is a demon cat, a lot of people running around naked, & misguided ideas on Wicca and fairies.
This book is a mess, & I admit it was a cover buy.
