pickI have never cried reading a series like I have in every ACOTAR book. From the beginning I‘ve always loved Nesta while others disliked her. But I always felt she was extremely misunderstood and had built a wall to keep from being hurt which came off as malicious and miserable. I empathized with Nesta. A Court of Silver Flames is a story about growth, self-acceptance, and healing. Now I NEED more books on Lucien, Elaine, Azriel, Morrigan, etc. etc.
pickI've now finished the ACOTR series. I loved it so much, maybe a bit too much? Is that's even possible?! I haven't been this invested in a series since I was 18. I am so sad to be leaving Velaris, but I'm sure I will read it again one day soon. Nesta's character evolution is AMAZING! Ever since the first book, I hated her with a passion. pick4.3⭐️ I can‘t even begin to tell you how many phone calls my BFF got because of this book. What‘s worse is the calls always started with something like “WTF” or “I hate her”. However, I‘m pretty sure the one that made her laugh the most was “if they‘re about to have a threesome I‘m nixing the whole damn book”. Overall, it‘s a good story. I‘m still not the biggest fan of the FMC but it‘s a good story.
Made it! Read frost and starlight in one day 🧡 SJM has made such a beautiful world while also giving the most breathtaking love story I‘ve ever read. I can‘t wait to finish ACOTAR

I am not a fan of Nesta.
But I also wasn't a fan of Chaol, and didn't want to read Tower of Dawn - It ended up as one of my favourites in the Throne of Glass series.
I'm still not a fan of Nesta, but I do appreciate what Maas did with her character. I love the message that no matter what you are loved, and you are worthy of love.
And even though this book didn't find its way to my favourites, I still shed a few tears there at the end.

Well, hello again, Litsy! I am not sure if anyone still uses this platform, yet I just wanted to update my profile again after years of abandonment. I am currently reading A Court if Silver Flames, and this is my third reread of the ACOTAR series. I am loving Nesta‘s journey all over again, too.
I was planning to reread all of Sarah‘s books, including TOG, before delving once more in Bryce‘s world. Here we go! ☺️

pickWhen I first started this book I had zero interest in reading about Nesta. Now that I‘ve finished, I think she might be my fav character. Along with Cassian. I think I might have even liked this one better than Mist and Fury. 10/10.
I think we can all agree that Azriel was such a shitty chaperone because Cassian‘s sex life was the very very last thing he wanted to be responsible for.

pickWhat a wholesome ending 🥰. I must say I did not love most of this book. I really disliked Nesta and although it is hard for me to justify her behavior at the start, I forgive her, she redeemed herself better than I believed possible. I like the Nesta at the end of this book. Besides that, the smut was a little too much for me, and too graphic😂. The book was slow until about 80%, but that last 20% is for sure worth the read. Lastly, Valkyrie 🫶.

pickFeyre+Rhy is slow burn; Nesta+Cass is roaring wildfire. We know the world, now we see repercussions and horror Nesta feels she deserves and is too proud to ask for help to leave. Don‘t fully love Nes, but now I understand her depression. Which is what makes the ending so satisfying. She‘s fighting to be worth it. Emerie and Gwyn are amazing new friends. Story is about working through trauma. Love Cassian #sjm

pickI know this fandom has so many Nesta haters vs. Nesta apologists but I am just a fan. I think she is easily the most fleshed out character in the series and I love a protagonist that is genuinely flawed. (Feyre was next to perfect which is not relatable) Her redemption arc is so well handled and the spice is hot. and CASSIAN 🥰🥰 WHAT A MALE

pickWhew the 🌶️ and romance in this one was EVERYTHING. My favorite of the series so far and the one I plan to read again(which I never do). Now I join the masses anxiously waiting for book 6. I can‘t stress enough that this series gets better and better, so my suggestion is to stick with it and get through that Book 1.

pickFinally book 5 came out in paperback a while back. Why so long a wait? Much better than #4 in this series. Nesta and Cassian, love those wings. All 751 pages were worth it.
pickI am so sad that this is the end of the series. I loved these books so much and I cried a lot during this one. Such a great way to tie up a lot of loose ends, I got the ending I wanted for Nesta and who doesn‘t love a happy ending. Would be so great if she did a little spin off on Nyx in the future though! As I near the end of ACOSF my patience for what‘s going on with Eris is really slim. I groaned so loudly at the beginning of chapter 69 my SO thought I was injured.
Sooo, why not just leave the Harp in the Prison? If the goal was to keep it out of Briallyn‘s hands, they should have just left it there. The Prison was already well warded, with extra wards!

pickI find Nesta really hard to like, though I enjoyed the “Valkyrie” friendship group. I just can‘t quite forgive her for her treatment of Feyre. I enjoyed being back in this world, though, and I appreciated the scope of the book.
pickWrapped up ACOTAR yesterday and I have my fingers crossed that Sarah J Maas is writing the next book in this series because I am obsessed! I don‘t reread books but could see myself rereading this one. Highly recommend!

pickGreat story and characters with the spice level set to One million. I love Cassian and tolerate Nesta she will never be a fav but I enjoyed her version of a redemption arc. Like I just can‘t forgive her treatment to her baby sisters as an older sibling myself. I would never let my little sister suffer the way she did. The friendship between Nesta, Emerie and Gwyn was the highlight of the book. Rhys and Feyre are now one of my fav married couples.

OMG I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!! This book really put it over the top for me since it was a fun and exciting read. The Characters were absolutely amazing to read. Feyre is still my favorite the way she took a stand of voicing her opinion when Rhys tries to cut her off was pure perfection to me. Nesta is SLOWLY becoming a 2nd favorite of mine since i loved how she FINALLY spoke the TRUTH about Rhys.
