#LittensLoveSJM #ToG Queen of Shadows Ch.51-60: wow! That fight scene was epic! Seeing our two girls come to blows was everything we needed. And then seeing Aelin save Manon so unexpectedly- our queen is full of surprises. Those two need to become allies and take out Manon‘s horrible grandmother and the awful king. I‘m shipping them as besties for sure. 💕⬇️

StayCurious Were we shocked that Chaol went back to kill Dorian? I guess seeing him in person really got across the fact that he‘s gone. Although Manon seemed to bring Dorian back to himself for a bit. These chapters were really good. Things are getting really interesting! 3d

mcctrish I feel like Chaol has lost the plot. I was so tense during this fight scene but then I thought there are too many books left and these are all key characters, we can‘t lose them now 3d

Butterfinger @mcctrish Chaol is not the only one. I was getting very confused. Sin Eater??? Ren?? Kaltain's fire. I know it is because I don't read it straight through, and I do start eventually remembering. I feel like I need to take notes. 2d

5feet.of.fury That whole chain of events seemed random to me. But I was glad Aelin could see Manon bring Dorian out a bit, now she knows he‘s not totally gone. 2d

When Shrike is crowned Oak King and fated to be killed by the Holly King to preserve the change of the season, he scrys for someone to help him and is lead to a mortal man. This was a fun but wandering read. There were a few things that felt like if cut, the book would be no less ritch. Due to this, the climactic battle feels very short. Overall, though, a fun fantasy story. I'd read more in this universe. #LGBTQIA #Fantasy #Birds

bookandbedandtea Sounds good. It reminded me of this book, which I read a few years ago and am now feeling a pull to read again.

March 2025 Book 2 A re-read for me but I only read the first 2 books. Now I‘m planning to finish the series, obviously, next year 😂It was enjoyable to go back to this world and I could say I enjoyed more the story now than the first time. Looking forward to see the dynamic of this “romance?” triangle. We know things will drastically change in the next books. I have the first edition cover and this new hardcover edition🤦🏽‍♀️book collector⬇️3.8⭐️

Moon Called | Patricia Briggs

I read this in 2013 and I liked it, I may have read more of the series? I can‘t remember, but I have plenty of catching up to do regardless. So since 2006 we as a society are more aware of cultural appropriation & Briggs is not native & the fae are sent to reservations which is… not ideal. Urban fantasy around that time would throw in any & every culture with little to no research, I don‘t know how the indigenous community feels about it here

5feet.of.fury But I did like the story, I like Mercy. The world is pretty well rounded, she‘s underpowered (at least here) so she has to use her wits & connections which helps with the plot. 6d

#LittensLoveSJM #ToG QueenofShadows Ch.41-50: wow! I can‘t quite believe what happened to Arobynne-When he slipped the ring on Aelin‘s finger, my heart nearly stopped. Dorian under Valg control is bad enough. His chapters are hard to read -but to think of the Queen being a puppet - nope. Not having it. And neither is she apparently 🙌 I think she‘s going to need to keep Aedion in the loop though for future plans. He‘s going to get pissy otherwise

What am I missing? So I picked it back up and thank god. I feel like Arobynn‘s death was too easy but I don‘t care, he sucks 1w
