This is an endearing memoir on what it‘s like to grow up autistic. Diagnosed over 15 years ago, McCreary‘s diagnosis came at a time when autism was just beginning to be understood for what it is. I appreciate his personal experiences and how he educates people with humor. #audiobook

Listened to this quick memoir on Hoopla last night while crafting. McCreary is a 22-year-old (at writing) Canadian autistic comedian with funny insights on school, bullies, family, being a young comedian, and navigating a neurotypical-designed world. His friends and younger brother are a great reminder that autism is not a monolith. Great for teens, although those looking for comedy tips won‘t find many here. #audiobook #hoopla #memoir #ya
