A very charming children‘s classic... as long as you ignore the racist commentary. The book is from 1911 so I wasn‘t terribly offended but... 🤷‍♀️

Qpri @ImperfectCJ I‘d say I‘m also somewhere along the continuum🤗 The batter is 1/3rd cup chickpea flour, 1 tbsp almond milk yogurt and some water. I added turmeric, onions and cilantro- but you could do any veg/spices/herbs. (edited) 5y

Qpri @ImperfectCJ It‘s a great way to up the protein. And I‘d never thought of adding zucchini so thanks for that idea! ☺️ If you want to buy chickpea flour for cheaper, def check out any Indian store nearby and pick up a bag labeled ‘besan‘. (edited) 5y

I‘ve done a lot of heavy reading this quarantine. Now thinking of kicking off the summer with a light and fun read. This one has mixed reviews... anyone care to comment? 😬

marleed I liked it. For me going into a JW book that she create MCs that will challenge me. I‘m typically not a fan of influencer books because the characters are often caricatures of self-indulgence. But I thought JW addressed that world in an interesting way. 5y
