It's going to be raining on and off but when it's not, you know I'll be sitting out here with my stack of books. This stack of books and magazines plus my kindle is what's on deck for the day. Welcome that and kabab grilling in between showers later on. Happy Sunday all 😊

It's been a good long while since I've been able to enjoy a little extra reading and tea on a Sunday afternoon! I love this time after the holidays... the sense of urgency is gone, the to-do list is shorter, It's peaceful 😊 Tea in my mug, pup on my feet, the fireplace is on, and I'm enjoying my books and the tree while watching the snow gently falling 💕

Sunday mug day #mugshot 😁❄️☕ it's time for a midday break; going to pull out the big fleece blanket, do a little extra reading and enjoy a peppermint cafe au lait. Next up, a giant pot of soup! Some for me, some for my neighbor who is scheduled for surgery in the morning. (She could use a few extra prayers 🙏 ). Snowy days are made for staying inside, coffee, tea, cooking and reading ❄️☺️☕📖

This #Mugshot is brought to you by the wicked and wild windy weather here in West Michigan! Sustaining winds at 40 to 50 miles an hour, wind gusts at over 60 😮 I've cooked and baked and did all of the necessary things that require power. And most importantly I've made sure the Kindle is charged fully LOL 😂📖 I'm hoping I won't lose power but if I do I'm in good shape with a fully charged Kindle and and out of control actual TBR stack! 😁

It was a bitter 2°when I took the dogs out this morning, we've climbed to a balmy 15° now ? the boys and I are snuggled up under a warm blanket with a big mug of Coco combined with coffee and my books ? it's going to be at least a three-book weekend with this weather ???☕❤️?
