Here‘s my review for a book series I just finished reading. I first read this series in 2016 and I never read the final book until now. I just finished this series and I‘m not sure what to do with myself. I‘m still living in the fictional world in this series. I think I have a book hangover.

Here‘s my reading progress for the final book that I‘m reading in the Dorothy Must Die series. I started this book last night after finishing the 3rd book and it‘s good so far. I‘m almost finished with it.

4/5 for the last in this series! What a great conclusion to this series! All the loose ends were tied up nicely! I loved the twists! I now need to read all the novellas. I would recommend this series!

I finally finished this series. Of course with the ending, I expected there would be another book. The story overall was captivating. The ending does leave readers wanting more. I‘m happy, I finally had a chance to finish the series. But I do wonder what‘s next for the characters. I guess that is left to the reader‘s imagination. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How did you choose this book: Last book in the “Dorothy Must Die“ series, so I decided to finish it.

Summary in comments

Not bad. A bit predictable at times. I really didn‘t like the last few chapters. It felt like Paige forced a happy ending and then thought she better throw in a cliff hanger to make you want another book. Honestly, I don‘t want another book in this series (I know there is a book of Oz stories).
The series over all gets a eh. It‘s not the worst but it‘s not really that great either. The first book was good then it went down hill.

I'm disappointed that the series is over, but looking forward to the novellas. The author is a fan of L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz and it shows. She references his characters while imagining her own personalities for them. Fast paced with modern, sassy characters.

It took me a long time to finish this book. It just didn't keep my interest as much as the other books in the series. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed in this one.
The ending leaves the story open for more installments but I doubt I'd read them of more were released.

Full of action and twists - I loved the ending. Apparently there is an epilogue but only in the hardcover - not in my kindle version. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Finished off this series today. (The first book, Dorothy Must Die, I have as an ebook) Overall I enjoyed this YA reimagining of Oz. The books kept me interested with the old familiar characters and the news one Paige created. The last character that came in at the end of the series was a bit unnecessary but still a Pick for the whole series.

This book was such a huge disappointment for me, I couldn't even finish it and if I'm honest I don't care how it ends. This series has just got worse and worse with each book. It was slow moving and the characters just annoy me now!

It was definitely an adventure but I feel like it was slower than the previous books in the series. It was still a good read though.

I feel sorry to say that this book was a disappointment. It was as if the author herself was rushing to finish it and was just dragging it to reach a 200 page count! Ugh IT MADE ME WANT TO GO INTO A READING SLUMP, IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO FINISH THIS BOOK because I didnt want to bail on it😑😭

It is a must read series ! Will leave you wanting more

Jeeze...what a roller coaster ride! I've really enjoyed this series of YA novels that are a different spin on The Wizard of Oz. Will Amy finally defeat evil Dorothy?? Will she get home? 😍. Plus the end leaves it open for more.

I really liked this book. It ended on a good note and tied everything together nicely. I loved how Amy evolved since the first book. She became this strong, confident, powerful and caring person. In this book, Dorothy was stripped of her evil and we actually got to know her character from the alternating POV. It was great to hear both sides of the story. At the end was very emotional, I was tearing up.

Current TBR pile guys! I need to get on some reading lol. 😍💕 📚

I have loved the Dorothy Must Die series, especially the prequels. I am not sure if this is actually the last book in the series because there's a lot more that could be written. If it is the end, I found it mostly satisfying. I always get sucked into the world of Oz and highly recommend the prequels in this series especially. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#Oz

This was a very disappointing ending for the series.

I was rolling my eyes so much at what was going on that I was afraid they stay stacked that way.

I felt like this book didn't need to happen and every thing could have been solved in the previous book. So trite and unnecessary.
