so-soI read this for the #LRC2018 for a book that is also a song title but it just wasn‘t for me. Ellen is newly married and runs into her ex-boyfriend which results in her examining the choices she‘s made with her life. While I didn‘t mind the premise, I found her to be way too whiny and unsympathetic. Oh well, on to the next book!

I absolutely loved this book 💕 figuring out if you really are happy with the life you chose. Is a ex really better then your husband ? I give this book a 5/5
pickI love Emily Giffin's books! Snappy dialogue and messy, imperfect characters dealing with major life decisions with a NYC backdrop. Perfect for a lazy Saturday curled in my reading chair 👌🏽📚😄
Maybe that's what it all comes down to. Love, not as a surge of passion, but as a choice to commit to something, someone, no matter what obstacles or temptations stand in the way. And maybe making that choice, again and again, day in and day out, year after year, says more about love than never having a choice to make at all.
Does anyone else feel like this is the Monday-est, longest week ever? I just want to go home, read my books, and switch the coffee for some wine.
panI really wish this wasn't the book I chose first for the #readathon. Not great. I could not at all empathize with Ellen, and it really made me mad when she got on the plane. #TeamAndy even though he was probably too good for her anyway. Ugh. What a waste.
So I've been very slow going for the readathon. I thought I would have so much more time to read and I still haven't finished even one book. At least I'm back in my happy place this morning. #24in48
