A snowstorm in Detroit knocked out our power, which also means we have no heat. 😳 At times likes these, I know I'm beyond lucky to have a working fireplace and a house full of books. Curling up with a blanket and this comfort read, and hoping we get power back soon! How are my fellow #MittenLittens doing? #CurrentlyReading

Isla has has a crush on Josh since freshman year. Now, in their senior, he doesn‘t have a girlfriend anymore, so she decides to go for it.
I really enjoyed Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door, so I thought I‘d finish up the series. I also enjoyed this one. I liked the characters and their relationship with each other. It wrapped up the series in a nice bow. You get to know how Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket end up.

A Paris love story!
📚
From a Manhattan cafe to the Champs-Élysées to Casa Milà in Barcelona, each is rich in detail--perfect for would-be travellers!
📚
Isla & Josh are clearly written and perfect for each other, making their romance believable. Notice cameos from the stars of other books in the series. Expect themes of young love, insecurity, & lack of direction.
📚
Have you read Isla and the Happily Ever After? What did you think?

Still a fun read, but by far my least favourite of the trilogy. I liked the sweetness of the others, this one was a bit too overwrought for my tastes, but still worth the read if you're into the series. Lola and the Boy Next Door was my favourite.

The ending of a "semi-trilogy" and Stephanie pulls another cheesy romance. As cheesy and corny as they are, I adore these novels.

*I accidentally bought the craziest thing ever, and I had to show it off.

Decided to finish up this series finally. Was it cutesy and a bit ridiculous? yes. Did I still enjoy? Yes. Of the three girls I probably related to Isla the most being the shy middle child between two sister with much stronger personalities. Fun light hearted read in between my more serious ones.

This was crazy dramatic to the point where I wasn't sure if I would like it! However, the characters and their development really pulled me around in the end and I did indeed enjoy this.

Idk why Stephanie Perkins insists on making me cry, but I‘m a sucker for romance stories. Love this series. Isla and Josh were absolutely perfect. I really wish Josh‘s graphic memoir was an actual thing lol....and I‘m also kind of bummed Meredith has yet to experience her own happily ever after. 😭💕

I really enjoyed Isla's story. I related to her feeling that everyone else had everything figured out while she just didn't know what to do with her life. I also loved her obsession with adventure books of all kinds and going sightseeing with her and Josh in Paris and Barcelona.

I definitely joined the #BadDecisionsBookClub and stayed up too late to finish. I couldn't bear to leave them in the state they were in. The dark moment is dark, y'all.

I think this one is my favorite in this companion trilogy. I loved how our characters weren't immediately likeable, and I loved that their relationship wasn't perfectly easy. I can understand why people wouldn't like this, but I enjoyed it.

1.5/5 ⭐️ Ugh. I wanted to like this. And although I really enjoy Stephanie Perkins's writing style, i didn't enjoy the story that much. There were cute moments but there were lot more moments that made me roll my eyes, cringe, and just annoy me. It felt like the story dragged on and on and I didn't understand the ending at all I really would've preferred if Ilsa didn't end up with Josh. I didn't like Josh at all and Ilsa was annoying at times.

I love reading YA contemporary during the summer! It's the perfect time for quick, feel good reads. I've read and loved all the books in this pile except Geekerella, but I plan on reading that one soon.

britt_brooke I loved the Stephanie Perkins books! 7y

This book was cute. Even though the problem in the middle was kind of dumb, I think this is a better story than the first two. Specifically, because this didn't involve cheating. I love Isla. I've pictured Emma Stone as her. Josh...beautiful as ever, just like Cricket. Good book to end the series. Book: 5/5. Series: 3/5 Highly recommend.

"A blank canvas...has unlimited possibilities."

I just finished my reread of Isla today and somehow, I like it even more than Anna! It was so cute and relatable, and the ending was just perfect. ?

I think I'm going to use Litsy as more of a secondary platform from now on, because being consistent here and on Instagram is difficult. I'll still be active, just not as frequently. ?

"I‘m…getting there. I‘m beginning to think that maybe it‘s okay to be a blank canvas. Maybe it‘s okay that my future is unknown. And maybe,” I say with another smile, “it‘s okay to be inspired by the people who do know their future.” “It goes both ways, you know.” I link his icicle fingers through mine. “What does?” “Artists are inspired by blank canvases.” My smile grows wider."

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 | Yeah, so when I said I was liking the book more than the other two in the series? Not the case anymore. The second half took a turn for me, I didn't like how Isla's personality seemed to suddenly change, along with the fact that the relationship development didn't feel believable to me. The end just felt too disjointed.

I haven't given up on ACOMAF yet...just taking a little break. About halfway through this one and I'm surprisingly loving it. I wasn't big on the first two books but this one has the elements I did like, plus a somehow more swoonworthy romance than either of the first two books. I've been on such a contemporary kick lately that i'm struggling to finish any fantasy books 😥
