I liked the first one more. This one was still cute with the plot & diversity In characters. I just wanted a little more spice & I didn‘t like the characters as much as I did in the first one.

Elise moves to a new town after her brother dies in Afghanistan to help her sister-in-law & niece. There she meets Mati, who‘s Afghan. They face cultural differences between their families. Will they be able to overcome them?

This was an important ya book on differences for all ages. I liked both of the MCs. The verses for Mati‘s POV were interesting. It was a short, fast read. It also had a HEA.

Rowan, billionaire owner of Dreamland, hires Zahra to design rides for him. He thought his actions were professional only, then soon finds out his feelings for her had taken over. Will he allow himself to be in a relationship?

Evelyn, famous movie star, chooses to tell her life story to Monique, a stranger: from the start of her career, to her 7 husbands, & to forbidden love. Why did Evelyn choose her?

I don‘t agree w/ the hype for this book. I really enjoyed the lgbtqia & race diversity, but I didn‘t like Evelyn‘s impulsivity. Her overall story was too depressing for my taste. The writing was good though.

Catalina‘s sister‘s wedding‘s in 4 weeks, & she needs a date because her ex will be there along w/ his fiancée. Her handsome coworker Aaron offers to be her date. After spending more time w/ him, he starts to not seem so bad. Does he share her feelings?

Grace wakes up, but someone has come back w/ her inside her head. Jaxon & her friends come together to help get them out of her head. Her uniqueness has also captured the interest of some powerful people who want to control her.

This one was so much better than the first one: the characters were way more developed; the plot was more structured; and it was funnier, especially w/ the new character. Don‘t give up after the first one.

This is an important book about first times for everything, especially for a teenage girl. I didn‘t really like Claude or Miah as characters, but the writing was real poetry; so well-constructed & beautifully descriptive.

Grace moves to Alaska for school after her parents died. Right off the bat she notices it‘s not a normal school. Jaxon has piqued her interest in many ways. What‘s everyone hiding?
This was ok. It‘s not trying to be Twilight. There are a lot of different elements from Twilight. It was funny; I especially liked the chapter titles. There was romance & magic, but most of the characters were a little flat. The plot could‘ve also been a little better.

Rosie leaves her husband Dom until he shows her more love. They both go into marriage counseling. What Rosie doesn‘t know is Dom has been hiding something from her. What is it? Will they be able to fix their marriage together in time?
This was a cute second chance romance. I didn‘t like their non-communication, but I liked that they went to counseling for that. The spice was there. The characters were okay, but I liked their chemistry & arcs more.

I enjoyed this book so much. It‘s my best read of 2023 so far. I loved the switching timelines; it had that building love momentum that was accomplished better than People We Meet on Vacation. It made the plot & characters better.
