32 posts | 79 read | 19 to read
Praised for being the perfect blend of action, romance, suspense, and paranormal,* Patricia Briggss Alpha and Omega novels transport readers into the realm of the werewolf, where Charles Cornick and Anna Latham embody opposite sides of the shifter personality. Now a pleasure trip drops the couple into the middle of some bad supernatural business For once, mated werewolves Charles and Anna are not traveling because of Charless role as his fathers enforcer. This time, their trip to Arizona is purely personal, as Charles plans to buy Anna a horse for her birthday at the big Scottsdale horse show. Or at least their visit starts out that way... Charles and Anna soon discover that a dangerous fae being is on the loose, replacing human children with simulacrums. The faes cold war with humanity is about to heat upand Charles and Anna are in the cross fire. *Rex Robot Reviews

Another good installment⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved that they brought back FBI agent Leslie Fisher and the that the Cantrip agents were likable. It was nice to meet more people that Charles cared about. It‘s great seeing Anna and Charles continue to grow as a couple and have conversations around starting a family.

Aaaaand...still no bingo! This what happens when I include library books in my list & feel compelled to read them! #BookSpinBingo

But I did read my #DoubleSpin, the tagged book. I like how I learn a little more about Anna & Charles & their relationship in each book. I do prefer Mercy books, though.

As it‘s 10:30pm here Halloween night, this will be the last full book I get through for #screamathon & #scarathlon. This has been a crazy, wild month. I haven‘t finished so many books in one month before! Let‘s just hope that I‘m as productive in November for NaNoWriMo. 🖋🎃☠️

#teamharkness

11.5hrs for #littenlisten #votedearlyreadathon #creaturefeature and all the others I‘m doing.

Thanks to all the awesome challenge & readthon hosts!

This one had horses in it! And every horse felt like a true character. I did cry at the end.
Amazing book as always. Will continue reading now with the Mercy Thompson series

Book 98 of the year, finished Nov 19, audio

This one took me a bit of rewinding, but that's more to do with me being in bed with a crazy fever from an asymptomatic UTI than it did the actual story.

The antibiotics are kicking in and I did enjoy the story, even if I'm pretty sure I missed parts.

A wonderful and emotionally complex installment of Charles & Anna‘s story. I really like how Patricia Briggs leaves room for all of her character‘s broken parts and provides realistic expectations for what they do to fix themselves.

Today's reading set up. Cramps = being aggressively cozy. Ginger + turmeric tea, chocolate, bullet journal, sweats, and a comfort read.

I feel like I've run a marathon. Nice twist in the end. Make sure you dont read the last page before the rest so it stays as a surprise.

Now I'm on a streak of catching up with all my favorite series. I was only one book behind on this one. I love Charles and Anna so much! Patricia Briggs has created a great world of supernatural creatures with tons of really likable characters. I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys urban fantasy😁👍🐺 also that cover art!👌😍

It's been so long since I could read in bed! This book is equally engrossing and scary. How I've missed Patricia Briggs' world! Gale's broody eyes don't hurt either. 😜

Love the book, what's not to like werewolves, Fae, a case to solve, attractive men on horses and the ongoing romance between Anna and Charles. 4 ⭐️

Reading some Patricia Briggs and enjoying the pumpkin pasties I made yesterday with some coffee (I put a little pumpkin spice in with the coffee before brewing). It's actually 55F outside, which feels wintery to this Florida girl. All around good morning.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as I have been a long time fan of the Mercy Thompson series and this is an offshoot of that series. Fast-moving plot, interesting characters, I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Love these two series and how they cross over and lend things to the other. 8y

I read this while screaming, "YAAAASSSS!! YOU TELL THEM, MAMA!!" Her children are Navajo and the teacher was acting as if her child was not speaking properly because she said a Navajo word. Grrrrrrrr. #MamaGrizzly

I simply love Charles & Anna, they are a delight to read about. Briggs writes their relationship so well.
Also love reading about them working to solve crimes, and the fae in this was horrible! *shudder*
Great book.

Why do I read these books so quickly?! Because I love them, that's probably why. Now I have to wait for ages for the next instalment! This series and the Mercy Thompson series are really very entertaining. If you like Urban Fantasy, this will do the job!
