6/10 solution rate. 😂

#EBBR @Ruthiella

Ruthiella Not too bad! I feel like the solutions are becoming a bit more of a stretch in these later books! 😅 2d

#Read2025 #SeriesLove2025

Every month I read the book for #EBBR & then don‘t write down my results & return it to the library before I get around to reviewing it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, I think I was only somewhat successful in solving the mysteries in this one but who knows?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn‘t remember them from childhood so I may have missed this one, #10 in the series. It gets a soft pick as they mostly all do.

Ruthiella I sometimes weirdly do remember the occasional solution to a case from childhood. But only with Encyclopedia. With Nancy Drew, I have absolutely no memory. 😅 1w
DebinHawaii @Ruthiella I usually remember some of them but this book I didn‘t & I‘m hit or miss with Nanners! 😆 1w

Every time I finish one of these I‘m reminded of why I did not like them as a child. Even as an adult, I fail to solve more than half. 🤣🤣 While we don‘t have the random teeth collection, this one gives us recovered false teeth for reward money (eew), plenty of Bugs Meany and friends, and more Sally sass than ever. Love to see her.
#ebbr

Ruthiella I love Sally too! She and Encyclopedia are a great team. 1w
DGRachel @Ruthiella They really are. I love how she‘s out front calling the bullies out while Encyclopedia is hanging back like, umm maybe let‘s not antagonize the dude that‘s 7 feet tall and 250 lbs. 🤣🤣 1w

#Naturalitsy #HyggeHourReadathon

Tonight‘s #hyggehour will be spent in the company of Encyclopedia Brown for #EBBR & thenfinishing up The Serviceberry for #RiseUpReads

Snacks are pear cheesecake & Hint Water in one of their seasonal flavors(cranberry orange). Mood is fine, a bit tired & not quite ready for an early morning flight to Hilo where I‘ll be in meetings tomorrow & then spend the night & come back Tuesday evening.

Ruthiella Enjoy your sleuthing! 🔍😃 2w

Well #EBBR buddy readers, how did you do with this month‘s title?

I found them fairly easy to solve, though I also know that I read this one as a kid because I remembered the solution to “The Case of the Barefoot Thieves”. As a child who usually went barefoot outside in hot California summers, I remember wanting to test the solution out myself! 👣😅

#Naturalitsy #HyggeHourReadathon

Tonight‘s #HyggeHour will be spent finishing the last third of Nancy Drew from last week for #NancyDrewBR & then with Encyclopedia Brown for #EBBR

I‘m settled in on the couch & my snack/dessert is a few leftover Reese‘s Halloween shapes & I‘m drinking cold apple cider. Mood is fine, a bit tired &never really excited for Monday but resigned to my fate. 😵‍💫😉😆

Ruthiella Reese‘s make a perfect accompaniment to both Encyclopedia Brown and Nancy Drew. 1mo

Hey there fellow #EBBR sleuths! It's time to get your paws on a copy of this month's title if you are interested in joining in. I think I might have read this one before. The kid on stilts is jogging my memory.
This buddy read is open to all. If anyone would like to be removed from or added to the tag list, please let me know.

Sace I ushered in November yesterday with this one. I was stumped a few times and one had a solution based solely on an assumption. 1mo
Ruthiella If I am even close to guessing a solution (“It has something to do with the tides…It involves the position of the cake, etc.) I count that as a win! 😂 1mo

Since it's also Throwback Thursday, I'm going old school with my pics. Here are some favorites from my youth:
1. Encyclopedia Brown - I even had a little crush on Leroy. 😍
2. Nancy Drew - A teacher recommended I graduate from Encyclopedia Brown and get into Nancy Drew.
3. The Boxcar Children - An old family favorite that my Aunt shared with me

dabbe We share #2! I have to revisit EB and Boxcar someday soon. Thanks for playing! ❤️💜🩷 2y
