My next read. A break from all the traditional fantasy. What if you could transfer into someone else‘s body by touching them?
Claire North does it again! She blew my mind with this book. She has a unique ability to ignite my imagination and leave me daydreaming about her stories long after I have finished. Ever wondered what you would do if you could inhabit other bodies? Pick this up and start daydreaming too!
Good morning Littens! 💕 I'm starting mine with a latte, homemade banana bread and of course some reading. How are you all?!...✌🏼
So, this is my autumn list for #tbrbingo - I am starting my training contract to become a solicitor in a few weeks and I am anticipating being very busy (hence why I didn't want to be too ambitious! Haha). Some good ones on there and I am looking forward to them! Any recommendations for winter reads?...still after a good book haul 😂🤷🏻♀️. Oh and HAPPY TUESDAY ✌🏼☕️📚. #tbr
Not.moving.from.this.spot! I feel a little blue today and finding it tough so trying to get into this book with a fennel tea ☕️. How are y'all Mondays going?
2 weeks until I start as a Trainee Solicitor = 2 weeks of cake, coffee and a good book. How are you guys spending your weekend? ✌🏼 have a good one!
@Ms_T got it! Thanks for the recommendation ‼️‼️❤️📖📚
I really enjoyed this. Not my normal type of read but it gripped me from the start and I liked the writing style. I think it's one to be read quickly, in big chunks. My reading was a bit stop-start at times and I lost track of the momentum of the story. It's fast paced, but somewhat exhausting (in a page turner way)!
I feel like I'm slipping into an unwanted reading slump. Help! I think I'm going to give this one a go and hope it's as good as the blurb... @Ms_T have I remembered right that you enjoyed this recently?
I really enjoyed this, my first, audiobook - the story of a spirit who has the ability to inhabit the bodies of people by touching them. I found it imaginative, fast-paced and engaging and the story concluded the way I wanted it to. The narrator had an eloquent voice and managed to include a variety of accents (although I wasn't completely convinced by his American accent!) Nonetheless, I would recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ordered myself an in-car FM transmitter today which will allow me to listen to audiobooks through my car speakers, nurturing my book listening skills on my journeys to and from work. Technology, eh?
My first experience of listening to an audiobook and I have to say, it's made that hour-and-a-half of pottering in the kitchen fly by.
Good concept to this story: a man (or woman, who knows?) has the ability to switch bodies with someone else simply by touching them. But there's someone out to kill him....
Just been gifted this audiobook by a very kind friend, now let's give #Audible a go 😃
I think I'm becoming a bit of a Claire North fan. This was a very good read - the main character is an entity that can hop from person to person merely by touching them. All good fun for the main character, until they come under the scrutiny of an organisation that wants to put a stop to it. Loved it!! She has another book coming out soon that sounds very intriguing, and it's going on my to read list already!
If you are unfamiliar with her, Claire North is a breath of fresh air in publishing. She actually produces original & unique books, including this, her 2nd, one. Some on the brink of violent death gain the ability to jump into bodies via touch and essentially never die; and then there's those who are trying to kill Kepler and his/her kind. Intense, complex, philosophical, smart, & fun! Pair with: Asbach Brandy, aged 3 years, warmed, in snifter.
