This took me longer than expected. I had to rip back several rows because I had messed up. 🙈

Pickpick

The book is great, I've made nearly every hat from it once. Only got the German version because it was cheaper than the US edition. Lots cheaper.

Patterns range from slightly advanced beginners. There are a few patterns for self-striping and variegated yarns, too.

Highly recommend it.

I'm making the Glashütte hat by Kate Gagnon Osborn. Again. Because ⬇️

julesG I once had a blue hat like the one in the top right hand side picture, but my daughter lost it. Thanks to that skein of yarn, which a wonderful knitting and book-nerdy friend, who's not yet on Litsy, gave me for Christmas, I can knit a new blue hat for myself. I will not lend it to my daughter, hopefully. 😬 1y
CocoReads I got my daughter the knitters book of socks but I‘m sticking this one on my to read because she might like this one too. She rarely makes hats because she doesn‘t like to but she gives them a go every once in awhile 1y
rabbitprincess Ohhh that blue yarn is gorgeous! It will make a beautiful hat. 1y

Managed to finish a few #audiocrafting projects. A knitted beret, sewn shirt and tiny knick-knack purses.

Finished Pixel Pop (bottom left) yesterday. Have to weave in the ends, though.

Want to knit a hat from the tagged book. Struggled with winding the yarn. 4th skein of yarn from this particular dyer and 4th time the skein was a tangled mess. (right) 😵🤬

A bag of sock yarn leftovers my friend gave me, for a crochet lap blanket. (top left)

Catsandbooks So pretty! 2y

Wow, this knitting book is in the Litsy database!
I'm not so much reading as doing research. With four shawls and a pullover on the needles I'm thinking about knitting a hat, for a change. (Have knit this particular hat on page 24 already.)

@RealLifeReading

Yes, this book is in German. ;)

Mdargusch Interesting. I'm a big knitter too, and I never thought of looking for knitting books on Litsy. Thanks for the heads up. 7y
julesG @Mdargusch I was prepared to write "untitled" in the tag, so I was truly surprised when the book showed up in the database. 7y
Dolly I'll add some of my books too. Knitting definitely cuts into my reading time. Last project was hats for the march. 7y

Suet624 I have a blanket I have to finish but Litsy and my love of reading paper books keeps me from knitting. I've never done an audiobook but I may have to if I want to finish this thing. 7y
BethFishReads @Suet624 needlework / crafting & audiobooks are a match made in heaven. You could also try some of the really good book-related podcasts 7y
Suet624 That's a good idea too. Thanks! 7y
