This book was everything. I love books that challenge my perception on what makes a 5-star read. I was hooked from the first page to the last, and still wanted more stories from the Grishaverse afterwards. 🖤
(Currently reading King of Scars 🤭)

Make a great day everyone 😊
I LOVED this - I was on the edge of my seat for the last 150 pages and I cried at the end . I loved Kaz and Inej and all of the characters - I love when I read a book and I am so involved in the story that the characters mean something to me - I did not want to say goodbye to these characters!
#MarvellousMarch one book finished, two to go
#MarchMadness finished a series

#BookSpinBingo for March - thanks for hosting @TheAromaofBooks
I've been dragging my feet finishing the tagged book - I love the story and don't want it to end (also nervous about what is going to happen) - I know a book is good when I feel so connected to the characters that I do not want to say goodbye💖
Luckily there are a few more books that might have some of these characters in them!!
Make a great day everyone 🌻
#BookSpinBingo for February - looks like tagged book will go back on my March list (70 pages a day is my goal to finish this week - will not finish it in time for #20in4 ).
Excited to join another #MarchMadness readathon and bingo .
thanks for hosting these events @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES
Make a great day everyone 🌻
Here is my March #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks -
I have taken the tagged book off the list in hopes that I will finish it during the #20in4 readathon (Saturday is a busy day for me, but Sunday and Monday I have lots of reading time) - 100 pages a day to get done!
Make a great day everyone 🍀
"No mourners, no funerals. Another way of saying good luck. But it was something more. A dark wink to the fact that there would be no expensive burials for people like them, no marble markers to remember their names, no wreaths of myrtle and rose."
Rewarded myself with a book after I finished reading another book. ?
My goal for #ValentinesDayReadathon will be 50 pages a day from any combination of books I am currently reading.
Thanks @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES and @Andrew65 for hosting
Happy Valentines day everyone - make a great day for someone else today ❤
There are not enough stars or words for how much I loved Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom ❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book made me feel everything under the sun and delivered a satisfying ending.
Loving all the fanart and this scene Kaz now lives rent free in my head 😱
I need a moment because I just finished reading this scene and my heart ❤️🔥💔❤️🔥💔❤️🩹 Kaz and Inej😭😭 I‘m terrified to finish this book because I need a happy ending!
It took me a bit longer to finish, but I was not disappointed. I wish there had been a little more romance between some of the characters, but it was a great read. The plot and the heists were so well planned that it left me speechless. I loved just as much as it‘s prequel. I can‘t wait to read more by Leigh Bardugo.
You're not weak because you can't read. You're weak because you're afraid of people seeing your weakness. You're letting shame decide who you are.

Two tops favorite "C" books are:
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
The Calculating Stars by Mary Robinette Kowal
I loved both and I couldn't decide between the two.
Perfect. Loved it. Mischief, fisticuffs and mayhem. Everything my readers heart desires.
What a ride - I loved this one the whole way through but the ending disappointed me. I‘m conflicted because some of the threads were tied up beautifully while others felt abrupt. It also really feels like there‘s more to explore with these characters and the storyline; I hope the rumors of a third book are true!
Reading with kittens. 😻 We‘ve named this one Kuromi for the 4 days she is in our house, since our tuxedo is #HelloKitty (who absolutely hates the intrusion into her home 😂)

💎 wish I could read more, but I also have some cute little distractions in the house over the next couple days which will make an appearance in my next post!
💎 physical book

💎 Some books, yes! I love to annotate.

I don't know why I bother with the grishaverse. I keep thinking okay this is gonna be the book that I can join the hype. When will I give up on it? 😢
I've been slightly behind with posting, I finished this over a week ago. This book was a fun ride and I deeply miss all the characters! 4.5⭐️
A great sequel to Six of Crows. I love the gang and was happy to be back with them for another heist. Most characters got a good ending, but there are enough dangling threads that I could see there being a third book!
Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too. They don‘t forget. They tell each other who to look after and who to watch out for.
So I finished the second book a few days ago. I still prefer the first book because I enjoyed learning about their past. I did like that in this book Kaz did open up a bit more than the first book. I just wanted more. I didn't want to end.
What were your thoughts on the ending? Also, do you think Van Eck and Pekka Rollins got what they deserved?

Since I re-read the first book in the duology, it seemed only right that I re-read the second book as well. Reading it for the second time didn‘t make the book any less amazing, awe inspiring or painful for that matter. I enjoyed re-living the adventures with the characters and loved the ending (even if I cried…) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“You‘re better than waffles, Matthias Helvar.”
A small smile curled the Fjerdan‘s lips. “Let‘s not say things we don‘t mean, my love.”
Rapid Fire reading wrap up for December! I, somehow, completed 11 books. Great way to end a year!

I find Kaz insufferable, but I do enjoy how consistent Bardugo is with her characters. They are distinct and their choices make sense for that individual.
I have only one word to describe this book- 'AMAZING!' Absolute genius! Plot twists when you least expect it. If you love fiction, action and have nothing interesting to read, you HAVE TO read this book!
⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
OMG!!! Can't believe all that's happened in this book.. i laughed, i was anxious, i cried, i was always on the edge of my seat while i was reading/listening (the audiobook is perfect! Loved all the readers 🖤🎧)
Wow! This one was my favorite. I still think this duology is better that the trilogy. These characters are unique, a lot of action and twists. For a YA fantasy, I found it fantastic it really worked for me. It was discussed in The Unforgotten Book Club only with 3 members The three of us loved it. 4.5⭐️
I used one of the @LibrarianRyan book huggers to carry this big book, it was perfect.
When I finished the first book, it was a duology. And I thought, I might give the second book a try, I might like it better later. Since the whole world loves those books, there must be something wrong with me for disliking it so much, right?
Now a third book is announced, I read volume two, and still can't get it what everyone sees in that Kaz guy... So I'm giving up. The series and Leigh Bardugo. They're just not meant for me. Or vice versa.
I liked this better than Six of Crows, I think mostly because I felt like I‘d become invested in the characters and wanted to know how things would resolve and where they would each end up. The book was a little long, but I was sad to have to say goodbye to Kaz and Company.
I love this world so much!! And this book did not disappoint. Though nothing with Kaz in it would disappoint (I hope). Does anyone pretend they‘re not so young, that they‘re really maybe mid-twenties?? Because that makes me feel better about having a crush on Kaz.
We don't have wifi yet so my teen has been forced to read. Meanwhile Wallace is making himself comfortable.
Updated my blog with this book and the Netflix series.

This book gave me solace through my covid quarantine. ICYMI; I contracted covid and was (still am) under quarantine since the beginning of August. Not fun 😷🤒
This book though has been my go-to ever since I got sick….it‘s everything!
Another impossible heist with a great set of characters. Be prepared for the ending, it‘s not a perfect happily ever after. But what else would you expect from Leigh Bardugo?
