panI really couldn‘t stand the narrator‘s voice for the MMC (it‘s narrated by the author), so that detracted some enjoyment for me. The story itself was good, but this romance was clean. Like squeaky clean. I like at least some spice in my romances! Overall, this just didn‘t work for me.

pickI am a Jeremy Renner fan and enjoyed hearing from him the story of his near-fatal accident - being crushed by a Snowcat trying to save his nephew from the same fate. It‘s a bit gruesome in places and a bit repetitive in others, but the fact that he lived to tell the tale and came out the other side more positive and grateful, must be a testament to the kind of person he is. A real life superhero for sure!
pickPretty cute summer romance! I did laugh out loud many times and loved the FMC, Phoebe, from the start. Bel was an absolutely annoying character, but she redeemed herself near the end!

I am trying out a new-to-me creative hobby - art journaling! I‘ve done the front cover (both sides) and the first page. We‘ll see if the hobby sticks but I am enjoying it! And hopefully, the more I do it, the better I‘ll get. 🎨

pickIt‘s been a hot minute since I read The Woman in Cabin 10, and I was a bit worried that some of this might be lost on me, but there were recaps on the characters and events from the first book. It was a fun ride! Although it may have been a bit too long and most people could probably figure out the whodunnit (at least partially), I still enjoyed it.

My grown, 22 year old daughter asked me to cross stitch her a Stitch, so of course, I said yes. She loves Stitch and she picked a pattern from Etsy. It‘ll take a while - it‘s kinda big and there‘s lots of colors, but it‘ll be really cute when it‘s done!

I resist in my own ways, one of them by talking to my daughters, 22 and 16 years old, who I‘m scared for on a daily basis, about what a shit show the US is. Telling them that they need to NOT be quiet! And telling them that no matter what, they have a safe space with me.
Making these kinds of cross stitches also makes me happy! This one is for my oldest, so 2 more to go!
