#BookSale!!! We woke up early and went to the library‘s book sale. Each item was 25¢. We spent $6.75. Picturedare my picks. @KennethTolesJr picked 1 book (I think) and we also grabbed 4 board books for our friend‘s 2 year old. Lexi loves to read and to be read to. ??

TheBookAddict @Crazeedi @valeriegeary 😊 thanks, it‘s always fun to go to the library book sales. @Butterfinger oh no! I forgot about the last two that they had, so I made sure to remember about this one. I believe it may be the last one of the year. 1w

I seem to ramble a lot in this video but I have a lot of fantastic books to show you! https://youtu.be/iHpLDdxNuAA

EadieB @Butterflyamore You have acquired lots of books lately. I have read Daughters of Fortune and loved that book. Allende is one of my favorite authors. I especially loved her book Paula which is a memoir to her dying daughter. House of Spirits is another great book by her. Bellman and Black was slow in the beginning but worth it to hang in there to the end. I‘ve read all of Tana French‘s books and loved those too. She is a bit wordy but great writing 3w

EadieB @Butterflyamore I‘ve read Edge if Nowhere book 1 by Elizabeth George and it was very good. Your book is book 3 in the series. I especially like her Inspector Lyndsey series. I read The Silent Wife which was very good but sad to read she died when I looked for another book by her. I‘ve also read Beartown and the sequel. They are great books. Own Discovery of Witches which my daughter loved but I‘m not a fan of witch books but I might read it later. 3w
Butterflyamore @EadieB Yes, I haven‘t been that into witch books either, although it‘s a very popular theme these days! I‘m willing to at least give this one a shot. I‘ll have to add Paula to my list, as that sounds like something I would enjoy reading. 3w
EadieB @Butterflyamore I have about 5 books by Jennifer Donnelly but haven‘t read them yet. I have a bunch of books by John Hart and haven‘t read those yet but I also heard he‘s a great writer. I also own a lot of books by Alice Hoffman but haven‘t read them either. Looks like you will have a busy November! Happy reading! 3w

Book lovers love to say, “There is no such thing as too many books!” I definitely seem to embrace that belief. But I had to split my book haul video into two parts so I am beginning to question myself! 😂 You can see part one here: https://youtu.be/t3DQJODpT3w

#booktube #bookhaul #octoberbookhaul #bookstack #librarybooksale #bookshopping #bookhoarding

EadieB @Butterflyamore I have a copy of The River King but have not read it yet. I would be interested in reading Saint X, Trace of Evil, Imaginary Friend, Dear Wife, and Mark Edwards books. Also Never Have I Ever sounds good too.
I recently picked up a couple of books at a library sale. I got Pines by Blake Crouch which is part of a series that is now a major TV event on FOX. I was sent a copy of Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman from a friend.
3w
EadieB @Butterflyamore I was reading Doomsday King by James Rollins with a group and was asked to post info about the author and there was an interview and James Rollins answered that one of the best books he ever read was by Dan Simmons called Song of Kali so, of course, I had to order it. Here are some comments from the back. Think you know True Fear? read the most chilling book? You Can't be Shocked? Good Luck! Most frightening reading experience. 3w
Butterflyamore @EadieB I will have to look into Song of Kali. That‘s definitely piqued my interest! 3w

We went to two library book sales today, which was a lot of fun! This is the haul from the second sale. I found three at the first sale and I‘m very happy with those but trying to get them all in this picture wasn‘t going well for me! They‘ll get their time to shine later. Have you read any of these books?

I‘ve purchased a few new books within the last month. And then a few after that. And a few more after that. What I‘m really trying to say is that I have a ton of books to show you in my latest book haul video! https://youtu.be/wRhaTedRRSw

#booktube #bookhaul #somanybookssolittletime #youtubeforbooks #bookloversunite #itisnthoardingifitsbooks #toberead #septemberhaul #librarybooksale

EadieB @Butterflyamore Here are the ones I have read:
Then She Was Gone - All of Lisa Jewell's books are good!
No Second Chance - I love Harlan Coben's books!
The Flight Attendant - found main character, Cassie Bowden extremely unlikeable and stupid.
Bonesetter's Daughter - Love Amy Tan books
Once Upon A River - Loved this one too
Beatown and US Against You - Loved both books
City of Falling Angels - Love books about Venice
Bring Me Back - Surprise end
2mo
EadieB @Butterflyamore Recently required by me:
My Grandmother asked me to tell you she's sorry - Fredrik Backman
The Bookseller - Cynthia Swanson
Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk
The Dive From Clausen's Pier - Ann Packer
The couple next door - Shari Lapena
What She Knew - Gilly MacMillan
Magpie Murders - Anthony Horowitz
Redemption Road - John Hart
Happy Like Murderers by Gordon Burn - True Crime about Fred and Rosemary West
Perfidia - James Ellroy
2mo
Butterflyamore I enjoyed My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She‘s Sorry. It‘s a sweet story. The Couple Next Door is a good page turner. I have What She Knew and Magpie Murders but I haven‘t read them yet. I think I might have Redemption Road but I am not certain. I‘ll have to double check. I do have a couple of his other books, though. 2mo

Here‘s my eclectic haul from one of a few library and other book sales happening over the next several weeks. I‘m trying to restrain myself, because I also want to buy The Testaments. But these backlist books all intrigue me for different reasons. $5.25 for these plus three more I‘m giving as gifts.

Certainly not the best photo but I went to a library book sale today. And even tho I got there three minutes after it opened resellers had already taken boxes out 😕 but I did find these. Spent 8 dollars. Most excited for Sunburn and Idaho I think, it has such a pretty cover. Anyone read any of these?
