This took me a really long time to read cause I wasn‘t in a reading mood but I finally fished it and loved it.
Will be picking up the next book really soon because I need to know what happens next.

Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs
Personally I like Mercy Thompson much better but this was still a great read. Can‘t wait to see how the story continues in Dragon Blood.

I am so, so, so far behind. I will attempt to catch up. Oh my.
The following will not be in order. I'm going to do my Libby books and then my Audible books, and then my eyeball books. Which is not at all the order they were read, but I'll get them all accounted for at least.

Hopefully, by *finally* finishing this book (that I started in October), my way-too-lengthy reading slump is coming to an end. #SFFTBR

Thanks for the tag @GingerAntics ☺️
1. Oh so many things, but mainly correspondence that I‘ve fallen so far behind on. I owe several people much overdue letters.
2. Writing & mailing Christmas cards is my #1 priority this weekend
3. Ginger snaps - the key is fresh ground black pepper to give them that extra snap. This is my fave recipe: https://www.finecooking.com/recipe/ginger-snaps

Sitting at the Subaru dealership waiting for Slyvie (my silver Subaru) to be serviced. Thankfully, I always have a book or 2 with me.

Fabulous fantasy! Ward is the heir to a castle full of dragon bones and a man pretending to have mental difficulties after being nearly beaten to death by his father. After his father‘s death, he has to prove he is capable and it‘s all been an act while at the same time protecting his people from evil mages and betrayals. This is a complex book with characters who are not always clearly “good” or “bad”. Also TW for abuse.

I‘m so excited to read this! It‘s a rerelease of one of her older books, and so far it‘s so fun!
