Soar Mill Cove, Devon #VirtualTour

How was Tuesday? After a crazy first 11 days of the year today was almost normal, well as normal as things can be when at height of a global pandemic and trying to put final part of the #Remotelearning offer in place. Feel much calmer today but still far from sleeping well. finally got an email to say 42 device ordered from DFE before Christmas have been dispatched, hopefully not long now!

#DailyCheckIn

TheBookHippie Curriculum day ... listening all day 😬 planning for next year . The thought of another year of school with Covid is a bit overwhelming but on we go. 3y
BookwormM Busy work day again still it takes my mind away from the state of the world 3y

CocoReads Crazy busy day full of frustration in the pharmacy but everyone was in a decent mood so that helped. It just seems like it should be further along in the week than it is. 3y
TrishB Mad busy day. Tired. Plodding on. 3y
Andrew65 @TrishB I bounced from one meeting to another all day! 3y
Andrew65 @CocoReads Doesn‘t it just! 3y
Andrew65 @BookwormM That is so true, little time to think about all those problems as get lost in own world. 3y
TheSpineView Busy. Still working on end of the year stuff at work. Once that is all done it will slow down. I started another book last night which is always a good thing. So not a bad day. 3y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie That‘s early. Hopeful might (?) be able to be more normal by September. 3y
Andrew65 @TheSpineView Sounds great, what book? (edited) 3y
eanderson A pretty good Tuesday here. Found out that the mutation of Covid is now here in the state of Indiana and it‘s going to be a while before the vaccine is available to us. Trucking on though with our due diligence. 3y
kezzlou85 We had a pretty successful home learning day despite the roof being repaired with lots of banging. Did bring on a headache unfortunately but could be worse. 3y
Lynnsoprano Dreary day, unusual for us in Florida this time of year. Attended an interesting webinar on plant populations and potential changes due to climate change for master gardener CEUs. Nice change from our routine, although with recording more music for this weekend, no reading time today. 3y
Andrew65 @kezzlou85 That‘s good. Not the headache! 3y
Velvetfur I'm glad to hear the devices will arrive soon for the kids 👍🏻 I just went for a walk then visited parents. It was my housemate's Mum's birthday today, she popped round for a bit while I was out, and I suddenly realised that I too will have a lockdown birthday in a week and a half (21st)! That feels weird... 3y
Andrew65 @eanderson That mutant is a game changer, they need to accelerate that vaccine. We‘ve now got 2.43 million / 68 million vaccinated. 3y
Andrew65 @Lynnsoprano We‘ve finally had some sunny days recently. 3y
eanderson I 💯 agree! 3y
kezzlou85 @Andrew65 thanks. Its easing now. 3y
tracey38 Well, it has been a day here for me, too. Back still in pain and work is killing it, but gotta do what I gotta do. Then I was I formed today I was in contact with a patient who tested positive for covid after leaving our clinic. Ugh. Like I need more anxiety. And yet, I'm really still trying to stay positive for 2021! 🙄 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Glad those devices might finally make their way! Work wasn't bad. Still working on a larger project to help the GM but at least I got some reading time in today. Cool outside but the sun kept it mild. Now a late dinner (hot dogs). @Velvetfur I know you likely mean your birthday is on the 21st but I'm just going to say Happy 21st Birthday! What is time, anyway, during a psndemic?😉 3y
Velvetfur @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Hahaha! I didn't realise how that sounded until you pointed it out! Yeah sure it's my 21st...if you double it and add a little bit more....! ? I know what you mean though, like when I wake up these days I think "better get up....but wait, what is there to get up for?" 3y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 advanced placement classes and baccalaureate classes need to be set up for next year happens every January for planning purposes 3y
TheBookHippie @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I now want a chili dog 🤣 3y

Had a sorta extra long weekend but didn‘t gain any extra reading time. We got word over the weekend that someone at school had tested positive for Covid-19, so while I didn‘t have to teach today, I had to scramble to get all materials and create an at home classroom. But here I am, ready to teach the Civil War from my dresser tomorrow 😂. #teachersofLitsy #remotelearning #fuckCovid

LiteraryinLawrence Hang in there! These are crazy times and you can do it! 4y
kspenmoll You rock! Teaching with Covid challenges us & demands constant flexibility! 4y

Posting my recently reorganized #shelfie. It might not look organized but at least now there is room for my laptop when we are doing #remotelearning and while I search for a desk! 😂 #teachersofLitsy
