pickI have mixed feelings about this latest Picoult novel, which I listened to on audio. Though Picoult always chooses important issues and articulates the arguments on both sides clearly, I did feel that A Spark of Light does so at the expense of its characters, who feel more like symbols than real people. And their conversation/thoughts are sometimes more short essays on both sides of the abortion debate than examples of authentic dialogue.
Have been hearing how good this book is. Her earlier books were a little too "fluffy" for my taste but this one came highly recommended. #lazysunday #nojudgement #asparkoflight #dogsoflitsy
