The purchases. Or as my son called it: the spoils of war

We arrived in Berlin at about 9.30am and our first stop was at a small café to have tea. Then we went to Dussmann Kulturkaufhaus, which is a large department store for all things books and music and probably lots more, but we only went to their in-house English/Foreign Language bookshop.

Afterwards a tiny bit of sightseeing, food, meeting a friend, more food, and a bit more shopping.

Today's small #BookHaul from the well-stocked (for a German bookshop) English bookshop within the large Dussmann Kulturkaufhaus in Berlin.

"Beyond the Tape" - has a yellow spine. Means an addition to the #YellowNFShelf

"The Spirit Engineer" - won an award, I heard. Not sure which one though. ?

I‘m in Berlin this weekend because my friend is getting married in August & we are doing her Hen Night. On my way to Berlin, our train was stopped because of a complicated police investigation, and we didn‘t move again for 4 hours, which was terrible and very exhausting.
This is the German Pride Month table at #Dussmann.

My book haul from my trip to Berlin & Potsdam this weekend! I‘m big into fantasy right now, so I‘m having high hopes that I will finally get into Brandon Sanderson. The Witches Society sounds really fun and cozy. I‘m rewatching #Heartstopper rn, so Radio Silence will hopefull be good! Kiss her once for me is set over Christmas and involves fake dating. Perfect!

My university friend, who recently moved and now lives close to Berlin, invites me to a sleepover and we went shopping of course too! In the afternoon, we visited Dussmann (possibly my most favourite shop in the world) and I bought books, to no one‘s surprise.

Later, I met up with my two best friends from university and we went to my favourite bookstore, #Dussmann. It was very crowded as well, and I didn‘t find a book to buy 😱. I think I have read every book which interests me for this year and I will just have to wait for the new releases in January.

Dussmann has introduced a new student discount, so I simply HAD to buy new books! I‘m continuing the dark academia trend with If we were villains, the #DonnaTartt trend with The Goldfinch and of course the new TJ Klune.

Finally, after seven months, I traveled to my favourite bookstore 📚 in Berlin, Dussmann. As you can see, it turned out to be a very successful day! 5 books, 1 non-fiction, four fiction books and lots of different genres 🥳.

The beautiful Dussmann bookstore in the Friedrichstraße. Some Christmas ? decorations was still up and it was packed, since many people still enjoy their holidays. I went to the English bookstore inside the store and found a few new books ? ?

I asked my friend to take a picture of me while I randomly browse the shelves and I think it worked out well. I really adored my outfit today and the five books I bought was a nice plus 🥰.
