There are days when I have forgotten my wallet but the bag is always with a book or two ;D

#librarysg is my lifesaver as I can't afford all the books I read 😍📙📖😍

UnLunDun was the first ebook that hooked me to digital reading/ #overdrive
The title wasn't available at the library and I wasn't going to let a different format deprive me.

BookishMe @Q84 Hehee... I don't always put the wallet back inside the bag, after requiring it. And with cashless payment for public transport (I don't drive), I mostly don't need to carry cash or the wallet especially to work 😅😅 6y

Fire in the Ocean | K.D. Keenan

Was enchanted by these (that Striking cover is hard to miss!), yet I left the library to catch the arriving bus. Then I returned to the #librarysg cos I knew my mind won't be at peace until I knew more about these books.
Whimsy decision to turn back, and borrow these to celebrate the Double Loan period! (and I hadn't missed c the bus ;))

Zelma @BookishMe I‘ve only read one of his books, When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops. As with most stand-up comedians, I think watching or listening to him is a better way to go. We have at least one of his albums in our collection and I‘m sure there are clips on YouTube. The seven words you can‘t say on tv is one of his most famous bits, but I love anything he does. His bit on the Ten Commandments is fantastic. 6y

Have missed the robust discussions!

My mood reading is chaotic at the moment (while work seems kinda under control - is there something I'm missing ;))
but I have finished the 2nd book for 1001bookswap.

However I am far behind #Booked2018 and this should qualify for the #friendship prompt methinks (since I am not anywhere near the planned #TBR ;o)

This Is My Library | Adam Bellamy

Interesting display at the #librarysg across where I work... As much as I try to support the local independent bookstores (over TBD ;) our local libraries ensure I can read almost all that I want. There is a branch near almost every train station at my side of the island. I don't need a full wallet to fill my arms and bag with books.

So library > bookstore for me

I understand it's soldiers' way of talking but the swearing seemed to go nowhere. With heavy heart, I had to give up on this title. One I was looking forward to, for #DiverseReads and #Pakistan title.

Happier note - the book exchange corners at #librarysg have new pretty shelves!! 😍 😍
