Some of my favorite early childhood books. And I have to include a Disney in my post. In about a week and half I get to experience Disneyland at Christmas. I am so excited!!
The Tale of Peter Rabbit re-created and illustrated by Beatrix Potter tell us a tale of peter‘s narrow escape. As he gets into trouble and causes mischief in their neighbors garden. The illustrations bring life to a classic story. Potter creates new life within the story by using soft almost pastel colors to create her illustrations.
This book follows the story of peter rabbit as he causes mischief and gets into things he‘s not supposed to. Beatrix Potter has created beautiful and classic illustrations throughout the story. This book was originally published in 1901 meaning that it is truly stood the test of time. The book focuses on soft colors within the illustrations to create a comforting feel.
“Your father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs.McGregor”
“We‘re not finished until we‘re all back together as a dozen. Got it?”
This book teaches a lesson about loyalty and working together. The egg would not go home nor would he let his friends go home until they all found the missing egg so they could be together again. It took all of the eggs working together to find the last one and eventually they did.
This is a story about eggs, and some of the eggs escape from the carton. They all go out and play and do different things and they usually come back to the carton by lunchtime. There‘s one egg that stays behind and he worries when they don‘t return. He finally leaves the carton and finds the eggs, but won‘t return until all of the eggs are accounted for. They all work together to find her.
