pickI don‘t read a lot of poetry, but I found this one pretty enjoyable. Some travel involved (Walcott was from Saint Lucia, and these poems feature the Caribbean, Italy, Spain, and the U.S, among others), nothing wild or crazy. Many of the poems are set in the Caribbean, but we also visit France, Amsterdam, the US and Italy, as in the poem above that compares summer on Saint Lucia and in Italy.
