I just finished watching this series for the first time (I know, I‘m late to the party). This cute little book perfectly captures the relationship between Lorelai and Rory, and the lovable quirkiness of Stars Hollow.

A great month for reading despite going back to work! Fav book is tagged.

My desire to join the #MagicalReadathon2019 (better late than never!) led me to most of the books I read. I successfully earned an Outstanding for the #OWLsReadathon2019! One of the books also doubled for my #ReadLikeRory challenge.

I also finally finished both the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter series, the latter for #HPBuddyRead.

Quite proud! 🤩

Rescuing Patty Hearst: Memories from a Decade Gone Mad | Virginia Holman

so-so

Work demands have turned me into a weekend reader & poster!! I miss opening up Litsy every day!

Book felt slow and even though it did give some great insight into life with people diagnosed with mental illness such as schizophrenia, I was sort of bored through most of the story. Also, I didn‘t understand any of the (few) Patty Hearst references made throughout.

However - this satisfies my DADA OWL!

Mark Twain: Five Novels | Mark Twain

All of these lovelies came home from a thrift store haul! 😍

Most are for my #ReadLikeRory challenge, and some just caught my attention. The book on top is a Canterbury Classics collection of Mark Twain stories- sprayed gold edges & a leather cover! ❤️

Alright people. I‘m taking this on for #ReadLikeRory (my own #GilmoreGirlsReadingChallenge).

This one is a #CHUNKSTER at over 1000 pages. I‘m sort of intimidated, but it‘ll be Mr. Dreiser‘s birthday on the 27th, so I‘m doing this in honor of him. 🎂
