This book was a literary adventure. Just loved it. Although I was often behind the group, sharing it as a buddy read helped me finally pick it up & read it! #TBR Thank you @Graywacke for taking this on!!!!
My #august selection for #12booksof2024. I feel like this is the Canadian equivalent to All the Light We Cannot See, but without the hype of All the Light simply because it‘s a Canadian book. This was my second reading of the book and I just love this book.
My favorite book for August was the start of yet another trilogy. I know a lot of people were turned off by the romantic elements of this book, and I admit it was eye rollingly heavy at times, but I enjoyed the characters, the world building and the interesting villain.
