My first books were all Little Golden Books(The Poky Little Puppy, Scuffy The Tugboat, The Saggy Baggy Elephant etc) but the books that were my first true obsession were the Oz books by L. Frank.Baum. I think I borrowed each one from the local library at least five times, my favourites were Ozma Of Oz & Tik-Tok Of Oz. All of them are books I recommend for any little bookworm in your life. #followtheyellowbrickroad #memberofthelollipopguild🍭
Didn‘t like this story. It was kind of pointless and annoying. I think my biggest issue with it was the narrator. He was AWFUL! The voices he used ground on my nerves.
I‘m taking a break from the Oz stories for a bit I think I‘ve over done it.
I kind of liked this story about Tipp and his adventures with Nick Chopper (Tin Man) and the Scarecrow.
Not sure why I waited so long to read this series I guess I thought it would be boring since I don‘t care for the movie.
Continuing the series.
I don‘t know why I haven‘t used the Libby app more sooner. So convenient and easy and FREE!
I wasn‘t expecting movie Oz but I was expecting more from the story. I always thought the book was supposed to be more violent and I was wrong. It was much shorter than I expected as well. It was a good book and ticks another classic off the list.
I‘ve now read 2 twists on this story (Wicked series and Dorothy Must Die series) so I think it might be time to read the original. Also book 3 in the Dorothy series isn‘t available at the moment so I have to wait for my hold.
I did not like this one all that much. Some of the new characters irritated me and the actions of some of the old were out of character. Suddenly Paige started to get pop culture heavy and it didn‘t fit with the first book. The “twists” got annoying, every chapter did not need one. Maybe it was because I read them back to back that this one bothered me, but it didn‘t have the same feeling as the first. I would pan if it wasn‘t book 2/3.
