Hello from Deep Valley and Betsy Ray's house! Planning for the #BetsyTacyConvention has kicked into overdrive and your fearless committee has gathered in Mankato to finalize some details for our event this fall. Having attended multiple conventions in the past, I can't stress how incredible it is to be in these spaces and see the real-life inspiration for some of my favorite books. Will I see you in October? I remember Calling All Girls!/Young Miss—it‘ll be so much fun to read one again. The vintage ballet book is adorable, and this is a BLWW I‘ve been wanting to read.

I used to read these books all the time in grade school. I got this collection that has all the books in one and can't wait to revisit my childhood.

My March through the Betsy-Tacy books continues. Enjoying the high school years!

I keep an eye out for early editions of Maud Hart Lovelace's books in every used bookstore I go to. I've never been lucky enough to catch one in the wild until this past week! Lo and behold, a tiny, wonderful used bookstore in a tiny northern Michigan town had this glorious copy waiting for me. #BetsyTacy #MaudHartLovelace #MittenLitten
