Bodies of Light | Sarah Moss

Ally and May‘s mother, Elizabeth isn‘t just an #IcePrincess, she‘s the Ice Queen! Never have I read about a mom who manipulates, mentally abuse and neglects her children in such a way, while consealing it all in a presentable and charitable front. I really detest her, but I guess that‘s what makes her a great literary character.

Kalalalatja @Moray_Reads she is the biggest martyr, and I can‘t deal with it 🙄 @Billypar definitely! I was so angry and sad on behalf of the kids/teens/adults, since she acts this way all through their childhood and into their adulthood 5y

Doctor Zhivago | Boris Pasternak

I have not read this book, but I did see the movie. One of the most beautiful scenes takes place in the boyhood home of Yuri Zhivago (played by Omar Sharif). It is covered in ice. Yuri has gone there to escape the Russian Revolution with his lover, Lara, played by the beautiful, Julie Christie. #iceprincess #nofemmeber

AlaMich My favorite costume this Halloween was that of a mom and daughter: daughter (7-8) was a Dalmatian and mom was Cruella de Vil. She had a b/w wig and everything. 😂 5y
