pickI chanced upon a review of this and though I don‘t read a lot of nonfiction, I thought it might be a good, casually informative read. It was that and more! I can‘t recommend this enough and want to buy a hard copy for all my female friends. If you‘re like me and probably most other female drivers, your knowledge of cars and all their parts and how they work might be limited. This is like Cars for Dummies, but in a good way. Highly recommend!
pickThere are pages full of resources like tenent laws by state, federal laws and regulations as well as some great info like house hunting and what to look for and I wish this was something I had when I looked at my first apt.
After reading the first few chapters, the "Emotional Resetting" started to feel idk odd? I couldn't understand why Mercury is apologizing for different things so it read odd for me but all in all, a solid book.
Gonna be honest. No class has ever terrified me like this one. I have to find a real library/non-profit to work with. It‘s not just theoretical. I did something similar for my undergrad but that was editing.
This weekend, me, my daughters, and a friend of my oldest are taking a girls trip to see The Weeknd in concert! Me and my youngest have been making friendship bracelets to give out to other fans at the show. I made these today.
My cardinal from last week isn‘t quite finished yet…hopefully I can show it off next week!

It‘s been almost 2 years since my life drastically changed. I found out I was getting divorced, decided to move back to my heart‘s home North Carolina. Having a house build is quite an ordeal, but it‘s finally officially done and mine! I‘ll be moving in a couple days, I can‘t wait to settle in and unpack my books! I‘m going to read on this deck and soak in the mountain air as often as I can!

Mother‘s Day free books haul!
We were on our way to my mom‘s and a neighbor had things out in their driveway with a “Free” sign. I spotted stacks of books and immediately pulled in. 😅 There was a good selection but either they weren‘t for me or I already had them. But these three! The tagged has been on my wishlist for a bit. I love that there are post-it bookmarks left in by the previous owner. I can spy what crafts caught their interest. 🤣
