I'm one read away from my goal of 100 books for 2022! Book #99 was this fascinating look at the history and geopolitical importance of the computer chip industry. The audiobook just came out in October and it's a timely read. Four stars.

keithmalek It looks as if China is about to invade Taiwan, largely over this issue. And China's long range missile capabilities have now reached the point where the U.S. might not be able to do anything about it. 1y
stevesbookstuf1 @keithmalek Miller talks a lot in the latter part of the book on China and Taiwan, and has some good insights, including why taking Taiwan for its chip maker TSMC might not work out as China thinks, and the leverage the US has. 1y

First book of August! This book is a must-read. It tells of a black family in the south struggling to survive, dealing with racism and “the way things are”. Excellently done. Don‘t miss reading/listening to the Author‘s note at the end. It made me cry. I want to read the rest of the Logan family books now. #100YEARS100BOOKS #99 #BookSpinBingo #BS #11 #BFC21 #1 #TAILSandTALESforADULTS #26 #THEROYALREADATHON #SERIES2021 #LITSYSUMMERCAMP #1

#99 of 2020. This is the first book I have read from Stephanie Perkins. I was drawn in to the story from the very beginning. This story was engaging and full of suspense. I liked Makani‘s strength and perseverance. I loved Ollie. Definitely worth reading. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was great at the beginning, but fell apart once I got past 150pgs. It got boring and I started knowing what was going to happen, as I turned the pages

Gissy I had tried this author but I don‘t like her stories. 3y

#99 of my year. This is book 1 in a long series so if I end up really liking it I‘ll have to order the rest of the set but yeah lol Listening to Heartbreaker by Tayo Sound 💛

Caffeinated_Reader Whoa. That was a fast paced read. Full of gut wrenching moments. Mickey is a top notch character. Young but strong and brave. I loved the meaning behind the butterflies and why those specific ones. I will definitely read the rest of this series. 4y
Caffeinated_Reader 🔴🔴🔴 just ordered books 2-5 of this series 🥳🥳🥳 #thriftbooks 4y
