Similar to the Hidden Figures movie that came out a while ago, this biography by Julia Mosca showcases the brilliant minds of women that were often overlooked by history. This book could also be transformed into a readers theatre, using this great lesson plan as a guide: http://www.readwritethink.org/classroom-resources/lesson-plans/readers-theatre-1... The UDL coincides with Sustaining Effort & Persistence fostering collaboration and

ebrown community. It does this during the process of the RT, the students relying on one another for the production. The ESOL strategy I would use would be #27. Writing headings that show introductions or transition from one idea to another. This would be easy to achieve by creating signs that have each woman‘s name on them. #ucflae3414f19 2w
fabozzia This looks like a great book! It is so important for students to read things like this. Also, some students will connect with this in so many different ways. 2w

Book #27: There are many stories on this list that quickly fade from memory. Upon looking at a synopsis I can often regain what the story was about and some plot details but many are just unremarkable. Frankenstein is not one of those books. I recall this book in vivid detail, despite writing this 15 years after initially reading the book. The...

Friday night with Muderbot and whisky. Exactly what I needed. This was another great novella. I wish I were on the top of library holds list instead of #27 because I cannot wait to see how this series ends.

#27 "It's gonna be a L-O-N-G night!"
Sue and her brother Eddie are touring London and sightseeing in Terror Tower. But when they get separated from their tour guide group they end up getting locked in the tower overnight. Torture chambers in jail cells are abound in the tower. Something may be lurking in the darkness... but everyone in there is dead and gone right?

Part 3 #Amazon #Bookhaul #Mars #BenBova

One of the first #science-fiction novels I read as a #teenager when this came out in #1992 Now nearly #27 years later we are only a few years from making this #science-fact

In any case, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel when I read a few times as a teenager and young adult. Let's see if I still find it enjoyable and how accurate Bova's novel is compared with the real thing.

I‘m all caught up with #Litsybuddyread and now have to wait for next weekend to chat about the first half. I love Benji even more. And new characters have stolen my heart too. If you don‘t like hockey do yourself a favour and read Beartown and this book anyways, they are about so much more. Passion. Family. Sacrifice. Dreams. Love. Coming of age. Bystander. Upstander. Bully.

CoffeeNBooks I'm patiently waiting for this one to come in at the library- I'm #27 in line for it, so it could be a while. 😭 13mo
mcctrish @CoffeeNBooks it‘s a fast read so maybe it won‘t be too long. I own the first one so when I saw this one at the book store for 40% off I said “yes please” 13mo
kspenmoll Reading this now. Nice review! 13mo
mcctrish Thx @kspenmoll enjoy the ride! Will you be at #litsybuddyread to chat about it? 13mo

What's the longest you've waited for a hold?

I just got this today! (🎉 Happy Labor Day weekend to me! 😄) I was tempted to get it by other means but was curious as to how long it would take because I've never been #27 before, so I made myself be patient. I'm sure others have waited longer than my 3.5 months.

Laughterhp You‘ll have to tell me how this is!! This is on my TBR and I loved the Dry! 14mo
