Friday night with Muderbot and whisky. Exactly what I needed. This was another great novella. I wish I were on the top of library holds list instead of #27 because I cannot wait to see how this series ends.

#27 "It's gonna be a L-O-N-G night!"
Sue and her brother Eddie are touring London and sightseeing in Terror Tower. But when they get separated from their tour guide group they end up getting locked in the tower overnight. Torture chambers in jail cells are abound in the tower. Something may be lurking in the darkness... but everyone in there is dead and gone right?

Part 3 #Amazon #Bookhaul #Mars #BenBova

One of the first #science-fiction novels I read as a #teenager when this came out in #1992 Now nearly #27 years later we are only a few years from making this #science-fact

In any case, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel when I read a few times as a teenager and young adult. Let's see if I still find it enjoyable and how accurate Bova's novel is compared with the real thing.

I‘m all caught up with #Litsybuddyread and now have to wait for next weekend to chat about the first half. I love Benji even more. And new characters have stolen my heart too. If you don‘t like hockey do yourself a favour and read Beartown and this book anyways, they are about so much more. Passion. Family. Sacrifice. Dreams. Love. Coming of age. Bystander. Upstander. Bully.

CoffeeNBooks I'm patiently waiting for this one to come in at the library- I'm #27 in line for it, so it could be a while. 😭 8mo
mcctrish @CoffeeNBooks it‘s a fast read so maybe it won‘t be too long. I own the first one so when I saw this one at the book store for 40% off I said “yes please” 8mo
kspenmoll Reading this now. Nice review! 8mo
mcctrish Thx @kspenmoll enjoy the ride! Will you be at #litsybuddyread to chat about it? 8mo

What's the longest you've waited for a hold?

I just got this today! (🎉 Happy Labor Day weekend to me! 😄) I was tempted to get it by other means but was curious as to how long it would take because I've never been #27 before, so I made myself be patient. I'm sure others have waited longer than my 3.5 months.

Laughterhp You‘ll have to tell me how this is!! This is on my TBR and I loved the Dry! 9mo

TrishB Done 👍🏻 @Lizpixie 10mo
Kaye Thanks for the invite to vote but I haven‘t read either of these so it wouldn‘t be a fair vote from me. Of the others I‘ve seen, I‘ve only read one of the books so that wouldn‘t be fair either. If I see one that has both books I‘ve read I‘ll vote. 👍🏼 10mo

MaleficentBookDragon This book stayed with me the most since high school. It is the book that made me realize that one single moment can change everything; one small rash action can do so much damage. 10mo

I‘m giving this a so-so. It‘s got all the amateur detective stuff taken to the extreme- bad decisions, dragging your sidekicks long for danger, drugs, and then there‘s the Russian mob. On the upside, it was a really quick read! #MountTBRChallenge #27
