#ManicMonday #LetterL @CBee

Leniverse Manic Monday on a Friday, and it turns out I have a lot of favourite songs starting with L. 😅 2y
Leniverse And what did they just play on the radio? Little Wing by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Can't believe I forgot that one. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 2y
CBee @Leniverse you sure do 😂😂 2y
vivastory There are so many great L title songs 🎧 2y
Leniverse @vivastory No kidding! I've thought of three more since posting. Four including the Hendrix song in the comments. 😂 L is just a great letter. 😉 1y

Today for my #bookshelftour I'm showing you the #nightrunners series by Lynn Flewelling. Some books are missing because they're in my #tbr pile. Anyway, it's a fantasy series about two spies and it's got LGBT+ rep. I personally love this series and can't wait to continue reading it

Kenyazero This is one of my favorite series! It‘s so much fun. 2y
thereadingpal @Kenyazero it is! Love it 2y

At #LitsySummerCamp today, we're wondering what our favorite literary characters would do at camp. I'd say in addition to generally enjoying the rest, Alec would show off his archery and hunting skills, and Seregil would orchestra some under the table gambling even if he had to teach everyone Bakshee himself.

June 4: Today's #LGBTQbook is a longtime favorite of mine. I've read the series twice and love it as much now as my first read. It's a fantasy that features a male couple, some frightening and beautiful magic, and vivid characters. I've enjoyed Lynn's other work as well, and highly recommend it. #lgbt #lgbtq #fantasy #lgbtqfantasy #pridemonth2020

BookmarkTavern I‘ve had this on my TBR list for a while now! I‘ll have to see if I can find a copy! 4y

A re-read, and always a fav. A nice big city, swords and horses universe, with magic and necromancy and mythic races and thievery and Valor and two bi/pan protags who come to care for eachother at just the moment where they're each gonna need an unbelievable amount of support to survive the magics and political machinations. #queerbooks #queerfantasy #epicfantasy

ssleif Particularly, there's a great deal of master!spy/theif stuff in this one-- which is great. Skullduggery indeed. 4y
Kenyazero Always worth a reread! 4y

This is one of my favorite fantasy series. The characters are very well developed, and the plot has some surprises and many fun breadcrumbs. #lgbt #lgbtq #lgbtfantasy #lgbtliterature #trauma #grief #lgbtcharacter #queerbook #queerfantasy

I don't think I've enjoyed a book as much as this one in a long time. The character development in this is fantastic. I feel like I actually know what makes these characters tick, even the minor ones. The action sequences were non-stop and I never felt lost or confused about the plot.

This book wan given to me by a friend at least 5 years ago because he loves the author and I have not read it yet. Yikes. Love having friends that give you books they want to share and who don‘t guilt trip you when it takes awhile to get to them. #🍀#emojinov

DivineDiana That is a good friend! I am feeling guilty about quite a few. Kind of wish that unless I ask to borrow a book, please just tell me about it! 😉 (edited) 6y
Jas16 @DivineDiana Luckily it was a gift instead of a loan because I totally agree. I have had to politely decline the kind offer of loans that I know I will never read unless driven to by guilt. 6y

The Nightrunner series is one of my favorite fantasies! Spies, intrigue, magic, romance, and war all woven together in the best of ways! #shadows #feistyfeb

Leniverse Oh yes! Seregil and Alec. ❤️The first two books, especially, are soooo good! This reminds me that I am two books behind in this series. I should treat myself to them soon! 7y
annkuch13 @Leniverse Definitely! The last book has a great ending. I think the second is my favorite, though! 7y

#Booktober day 18 #FavouriteFriendships Though I'll admit I thought about the Harry Potter books (who didn't?), my favourite friendship is between Alec and Seregil in the Nightrunner series. I think that's also my favourite romance, in part because they do start out as friends. And because they're awesome and I have a mad crush on them both. @RealLifeReading

An adult fantasy book with a LGBT lead character haven't read it yet but excited to give it a go. Most fantasy books I pick up end up having straight male leads and while I enjoy them I'd love some recommendations for adult fantasy with LGBT protagonists, help me out Litsy? :)

brendanmleonard I actually found poking around various awards lists helps - specifically the Lambadas and the Mythopoetic Awards: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lambda_Literary_Awards_winners_and_nominee... , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythopoeic_Awards 8y
Carol @helgagrace do you have any title suggestions? 8y

Excited to see an all-book social media app at last! Thought I'd start by sharing some old darlings. These are some of my all-time favorite books, but I don't reread very often, so they'd been packed away when I was short on space. So glad to have them back! 😍 What books will you never get rid of?

Bibliogeekery Sarah Waters, Jeanette Winterson, Emma Donoghue, Helen Humphreys and Thomas King books - unless I give them to people and then I replace them as quickly as possible! 8y
