From 2004 when we thought we were in deep trouble as a country. Oh boy, have things gotten worse. I enjoyed the audio until the very end when I discovered it was the abridged version. Grrrrr... now I‘ll sit and wonder what I missed out on.
Oh Jon, #ifiwasyourgirlfriend (and you weren‘t already married to someone else) I would be smarter and laugh more. Plus you would totally understand if I would rather stay home and read on a Friday night. #rocktober
Catching up on #jubilantjuly: Day 3, Stars & Stripes
I was cleaning out my closet and found this amazing t-shirt from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart circa 2004. Still relevant or more relevant now? Sad to think about, but also, man, can we talk about how cool I was as a teenager?
#marchintoreading day 22 - #audiobooks
Put my cd copy of this one up in storage, and seeing as it's literally the only audio book I own, this will have to suffice.
I tend to look at audio books as the equivalent of watching movies on tv rather than in theaters: a perfectly fine means of consumption, just not exactly how the work was conceived. (No shade at home viewings either, as I myself haven't made it out to theaters since Arrival).
It is perhaps a sign of the strength of our republic that so few people feel the need to participate. That must be the reason.
Oh Jon Stewart. How I do adore you.
This book was fun, funny, and exactly what I needed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5.
I need something light and funny, so this one is up next.
Day 11 of #augustphotochallege is books and politics. While I do have several e-books on feminism, these two were all I could find on my shelves that fit the challenge. I generally like my politics funny. 😃
Doing some spring cleaning and came across this in a DVD case...they all look so young! And this was 12 years ago! What!
