Twainy This is 3 of 6 library loans that are available in the Audible $6 sale. The only issue I have is that the book isn‘t a strait shot chronological timeline ... it tends to jump around a little which makes it feel repetitive a couple times. She narrates the book herself & is genuinely sweet & funny. 👍🏼 3y

UwannaPublishme I was shocked to learn about how Debbie‘s husbands took advantage of her. But I sure admired her resilience. This was a page turner for me. I‘ve been a big fan of hers. 3y

Twainy @UwannaPublishme not only take advantage but gamble away millions & mismanage millions! I felt her work distracted her & made it easy for them to hoodwink her. Oh she was a great narrator, I listened straight through! She felt genuine, funny & sweet! 3y

I cannot go off on an Old Hollywood memoir tear right now; I have other reading commitments. However, Debbie ripped me right out of my reading slump and quite honestly I‘m tempted to go right into old Hollywood and stay there for a month, reading different memoirs (Lucille Ball, Dick Van Dyke would be next). This book is so mesmerizing! #oldhollywood #showbiz #memoir #autobiography

I started 2016 reading this memoir by Debbie. And then Carrie's "Wishful" book a month later. Who knew the year would end with the sad passing of these remarkable women. Always loved Debbie's movies and got to meet her after a live performance of Mollie Brown. Also became an instant fan of Carrie's raw writing style. "Unsinkable" is a testament to their resilience. Twainy I LOVED 🎧 Wishful Drinking & just finished her mom‘s book. Another great audio! I got the hardcover of Wishful Drinking for Christmas 😁 I think this one will go in my Amazon Book list too. 3y

I loved this book when I read it last year. I felt so sorry for Debbie and all the tragedy she has endured. I grew up watching and loving Debbie Reynolds movies. Debbie was sparkling and vivacious and wow did I love her dance moves and singing. Although Singin' In The Rain is one of my favorite films of all time this lovely photo is from I Love Melvin another one of her films I adore. RIP Debbie and thanks for leaving us your beautiful art.

Debbie died from a broken heart 💔😞 I can't even imagine how awful it must be to watch your child go before you do. It's not right. Rest In Peace, ladies. Hopefully you're together again now. #wemissyoualready

Robothugs It makes me so sad. 😔 Singing in The Rain was one of the first musicals I watched. I fell in love with her. I loved Carrie Fisher more knowing she was her daughter. 💔💔💔 I am just heartbroken, especially for their family. 7y
