The story of the last unicorn & her quest to discover where the unicorns of the world have gone.
Lovely. I can‘t believe it‘s taken me so long to get to this. It was lush, vibrant, & lyrical & felt as ephemeral as a fairy tale. A bit slow, but absolutely worth it. Loved Schmendrick & Molly. I need to buy the audiobook so I can listen to it. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
Found this beautiful new edition of The Last Unicorn when I was at the bookstore yesterday. The best part is that I felt no guilt bringing it home because the author finally won back the rights to it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a pretty good classic fantasy story. I liked it but didn‘t love it. I think I liked an article I read about this book more than the book. I‘m looking forward to discussing this at book club because sometimes the group makes the book sound better lol
Today was my birthday!
Friends took me out to lunch, husband took me out to dinner. People bought me flowers and mugs and I bought myself some books. It was a really fun day.
Reading TLU while sitting under a poster of a unicorn made from the negative space created by the text of TLU #priceless
Patio is finally set up so enjoying some breakfast and my book outside.

These children books were all great reads. I remember reading them when I was a child.
Animal babies teaches about how you call them and give you fun facts.
The Berenstain Bears and Frankling teaches great life lessons for kids, in my opinion.
The last unicorn was a movie I loved watching as a kid. When I saw the graphic novel on Libby I had to borrow it.
So I decided to share these books, in case you want to read it with your kids. 🙂
I loved the animated movie as a kid but have never read the book. Just a few chapters in. The prose is lovely. Very suited to a fairy tale.
