Loved this. Has so much raw emotion and truth. Thankfully some of the stories are cute or funny too so it isn't overwhelming. Highly recommend.

When you're questioning humanity the day after the second US presidential debate, you need to get out your Humans of New York book to remember there's still lots of diverse love in the world ... and everyone has a story. ❤️

Spending a day in the city just makes you want to buy all the books! We walked past The Strand, but it was waaayyy to crowded to go in on a weekend. Either way, @BookItBilly and I enjoy the 18 miles of books.

I don't have a #faveplacetorelax because my default state of being is decidedly unrelaxed. I'm constantly on the move, both externally and internally. My favorite place in the world, though, is my hometown. It's not often conducive to relaxation, but there are times when I look around and think, "Yes. Okay. Of course." And that's as close to relaxation as I get. #augustphotochallenge #augustofpages #nofilter

The TBR Tuesday pile is much smaller now that I'm done with the Raven Cycle. Plus, I'm gearing up for a reread of a much-loved series after I finish The Name of the Wind (and probably Wise Man's Fear too).

One of my favorite Humans of New York stories featured in the book - "When my husband was dying, I said: 'Moe, how am I supposed to live without you?' He told me: 'Take the love you have for me and spread it around.'" ❤️
