Not book related. Just a work whine. But it is literacy related. I'm tired y'all. 🙄

Aims42 Oof 🫠 And on a Monday too? Not fair, Universe. Not fair. (Always here for a #workwhine post 🫂) 19h
CSeydel An email announcing a change contains information that‘s different than what was announced previously? How can this be?? 19h
GingerAntics @CSeydel they should have warned that the change announcement was going to contain a change of information prior to changing the information! 🤣😂🤣 18h

CSeydel @GingerAntics Absolutely! So unprofessional 18h
GingerAntics @CSeydel almost as unprofessional as has instead of have. lol 18h
lil1inblue @Aims42 It's been the weirdest September (and the weirdest year). I've handled the strangest incidents that I haven't seen in 20 years. This email just sent me over the edge after another crazy day. It's always that little thing... 🙃🫠🤣 18h
lil1inblue @gingerantics @cseydel You are cracking me up. I very much needed that laugh. 🤣🤣🤣 P.S. I had a co-worker convince me not to send my original email back as the response. 😏 18h
GingerAntics @lil1inblue 🤣😂🤣 oh my god I have so had the urge, like excuse me, did you not read the email you are quote literally responding to?! I‘ve had a coworker talk me out of sending the original email back in response too. Don‘t feel bad. I‘m still debating if it would have been better to actually send it though. The next time it happens, it will be the same person. There must be a way to circumvent the next one… alas, maybe not. 17h
AnnCrystal 💝🫂💝...may Oct. be better. 17h
lil1inblue @GingerAntics This is not the first time with this particular person. I'm still searching for the way to circumvent. Most times, I just laugh it off. But today was just too crazy. It sent me. 🤣 17h
dabbe #oytotheultimatevey Sending 🧡💜💛. 16h
CSeydel Some people just can‘t handle too much thinking 😣 16h
GingerAntics @lil1inblue some days it‘s just the final straw… JUST READ THE EMAIL PEOPLE!!! 15h

What will you be reading?

Pamwurtzler I think I‘m going to start this - 7y
Samplergal I hadn‘t heard about that one. It looks good. Another added to my tbr. At this rate, I have to live to 120! 7y
Traci1 The Shining. Also listening to Christie's Crooked House. 7y

Tomorrow is Family Literacy Day and this is how they are celebrating it at my boys' school. Not sure how much reading will happen in a dark gym full of kids and flashlights but I'm sure it will be interesting! (Also, our principal needs a proof reader 😳)

ValerieAndBooks Yeah, confused about which is it... K-7 or K-12? Also curious how they pair the kids up. Hope it all goes well 😂 9y
readinginthedark The idea is fun, though! ❤️ 9y
