I‘m so devoted to beer. But lately there have been some surprising and funky wines I‘ve tried that made me want to know more. I picked this up on audible today and have been glued to it ALL afternoon. It‘s making me want to join wine clubs and drink all the natural wines I can get my hands on. Gamay, come here now!
The author is fun and knows her audience. It‘s engaging and accessible.

Imagine you have a non-snobbish friend who is well-versed in drinking good wine, and she knows you're on a budget but that you also have aspirations to eat/drink a little more fancy, or healthy, or both. Ross is that friend, and she walks you through every aspect of wine: tasting, buying, learning. Drinking good wine is easy & accessible.
Juggling two books this weekend: Marissa Ross's awesome wine guide - so unpretentious and approachable - and Matt Ruff's LOVECRAFT COUNTRY, which is great *and* feeling problematic to me. What are you reading this weekend?
